Not as wide as other options

These felt ok when I tried them on in the store but on my longer walks (5+ kms) My feet started to hurt.
If you need wide runners these are not as wide or as comfortable as most of the Skechers available at the shoe company. The upper is very stretchy but also snug and I've had to use shoe stretchers and let them sit for a week before they stopped hurting my feet from the compression.
So my advice for the money is make sure to try on all the wide Skechers before you decide on these.

I'm so happy with these! I read tons of reviews, tried on the pricier name brands (they were either uncomfortable or visually unappealing) and came back to my old favorites - NB. This is my third pair of New Balance running shoes. The style is what caught my eye; the reviews are what sold me. As other reviewers have mentioned, they're not bulky, are lightweight, and are extremely comfortable. I've had no breaking in period. I put them on on Day 1 and hit the road comfortably. Unlike other reviewers, I did not need to size up half a size. I ordered my normal size 7 and have plenty of room around my toes.

My First But Not My Last

These are my first New Balance shoes and I Luv them!! They provide stability and comfort to my feet, my knees, and my back. I can’t believe that I waited this long to give them a try. Great looking style at a price that will not break your wallet. Since, many reviews were suggesting to sizing up, I went to DSW store to try them on. And I did size up. These shoes feel like I’m walking on air…that’s how comfortable I feel in them. I would definitely recommend these shoes. Try them out for yourself.

Good shoe but sizing is off

I ultimately had to return these, because even at size 11 (which is what I normally buy) they were too small. I don't know if NB has changed the way they measure or what the deal is, but they didn't fit. And this isn't the first time in recent months that I have had this issue with New Balance shoes. They're still my favorite, preferred brand for tennis shoes, so I'm going to keep trying, but I was definitely disappointed. I don't have a DSW anywhere near me, so returning is always an ordeal.

Great support for my weird feet

My feet felt better the first time I wore them. I waited longer than I should have to replace my previous shoes – to the point that my feet were killing me. I found a good review site online that told me I needed neutral stability shoes for my supinated feet. The New Balance Fresh Foam line was one that was recommended, so that’s what I bought. These shoes are great for all around fitness activities. Very comfortable and supportive and at a good price.

As many have stated these shoes are very comfortable. True to fit though is relative, I have wide feet and it is hard for me to find good, nice looking shoes of any kind in wide. I normal take a size 9 but took a 9 1/2 in this shoes to give me more space. If you have a narrow foot these would be true to fit, but if you are like me and have a wider foot make sure to take a 1/2 size up.

Summer hike shoe!

these were a great option for walking and running on outdoor trails! The bottom has a great soul that allows for my foot to roll and makes walking really easy as it propels my foot forward! My only concern was that it runs a little big, not in the width because I need the width, but in the length! I could’ve used a half size down, but I just wear a thicker sock and its great!
