Firm Choice
This shoe is of course more firm than its sibling shoe, Atwood Deluxe, where deluxe has more cushion. Still a decent shoe.

Comfy but poor quality
I've been buying the Vans Atwood for years, however the last two pairs I bought (3 weeks appart) have the "white band" ungluing from the shoe after a week of daily use. This is rather ashame as they use to last. They remain as comfortable as before, but again after buying a pair and having it fall appart after two weeks, then a second pair doing the same, I can only assume they're using cheaper material and glue to keep pricing down. I can no longer recommend them, and will be looking for a different brand.

Great shoes
Comfortable shoes that are worth the price. Only downside is the trim begins to separate where the shoe bends as you walk, after extended use. Still an excellent buy.

They cause blisters when first wearing
Stylish, but uncomfortable. They are very stiff when first wearing the shoe. The back of the shoe and the souls are too stiff, making it rub against my ankle causing blisters. The stiff souls cause foot pain after walking for a while. Fits well on wide feet, the blisters and sore feet will probably go away after I've worn them in. The shoes are easy to get on, and they stay secure when wearing, the laces don't untie easily.
