Decent entry-level hiking shoes

Winter boots
Have been finding it really hard to find a specific size in boots. Happy I stumbled onto this site and found exactly the size I need and price was in my range to purchase. Not wide
I'm currently wearing extra extra wide new balances, and these extra extra wide are painfully tight. I couldn't wear them for longer than a minute they were crushing my feet.

Nice looking Sketchers boots
The info on the website said that the boots are “9Wide wide wide”. I took that to mean “9EEE”, which is what I usually buy. But these are really too roomy. Even when I lace them as tightly as I can. Trying to cope.

My 3rd pair. I have to use actual winter boots when shovelling deep snow, otherwise, this would be the only footwear I’d need in our Edmonton winters!

Bought a second pair

Comfortable and stable boots
Very comfortable and warm boots for walking. Planning a trip with a great deal of walking so I am wearing them daily to ensure they will meet my expectations and so far just comfort any stability They are well insulated so no matter what the temperature my feet feel fine. I also like the rugged looks and they look smart . I will soak them in silicone spray in the winter but they are too nice to spoil with the salt so probably only wear them on cold days not slushy weather. I have other footwear for that . I recommend them highly.

Walking comfortably is easy.
