adidas Women's Barreda Mary Jane Sneaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start off my saying that I made the mistake of wearing these shoes for the first time on a walking tour on a cruise excursion. I figured they're like tennis shoes, they'll be comfortable enough... nope. I wore them without socks (which I believe they are meant to be worn that way). There is an area at heal that has a type of plastic that is probably supposed to keep your foot from moving around. Unfortunately, this particular area created painful blisters that lasted most of my trip. I had even sized down 1/2 size so my foot wouldn't move around a lot. Just too bad because they are a cute design. Might still try to wear with socks.

These are great for when the weather is too warm for regular tennis shoes. I get plenty of compliments on them, too.

Frustrating to find the right size but worth it because the style is unbelievably cute I even bought 2 colours. I tried 3 different sizes (I am truly a size 7 but it was way too big, 6.5 was slightly better but still pretty roomy and size 6 I've decided on keeping but when I wear them without socks they aren't as snug as I wish so I bought some cheap thin insoles and it's perfect now! I can't wear the extra insoles with socks though, but I love the style so much I don't mind swapping when needed. I am so surprised how many people say these are true to size. They feel comfy but I haven't worn them out yet and I bet the top of heel is gonna rub and dig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was struck by these when I walked by them and saw them in a shop window. They are so different but they go with everything. Out of the box they are super comfortable and even my with arches do not complain. I wore them without socks and had no issues the first day. But then I wore them for a day of travel and did get a few blisters so they may just need breaking in/no show socks depending. Either way, I love them and have worn them with dresses(in Hawaii), with a matching top and pants set for traveling, and with shorts and a tank and they matched everything. My favorite shoe now!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Like: The style is cute, more flattering and interesting than a basic mary jane. The sole is non slip and durable unlike some similar ballet or slimline styles. I like that the red option is almost as wearable as a neutral. Dislike: The suede part of the shoe is less vibrant than the fabric and elastic. The overall shape is more uniform oblong than shaped in the toe and arch as I had expected from the pictures. Fits a bit big but would not size down. Would look best on an average to avg wide foot to give the shoe more shape.

I already loved the Barreda Mary Janes, and own multiple colors of that comfortable, and more feminine style Adidas sneaker. They were even more beautiful when I saw them in this warm beige trim over the warm calf hair print. I immediately went on a serious mission to find them somewhere, in my Adidas size. You know, cause that's totally different from your normal shoe size, okay! Success! I added them to my AdiCollection, and I think this color, and pattern, is now my favorite, with the dark green holding a close second now.

I have wider feet and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit and how comfy they were. I love lower to the ground shoes with some padding, especially on the heel, and back of the Achilles, and these were it! If you have more normal or slimmer feet, I recommend going down. I measure at an 8-8.5 in shoes, but I usually opt for a 9 for comfort. I got a 9 and even then they were a bit big! I don’t mind, to accommodate for swelling feet and socks, but if you want to fit snug, definitely go down half a size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes. You definitely need some cute socks to go with them, but overall they are adorable. They are true to color and go with about everything. I'm in love with them! I would put these in the category of office work shoes or an everyday shoe if you don't live a high-impact lifestyle on your feet. They don't have great arch support, so keep that in mind when you are buying these. I have flat feet, but I still find them comfortable. I tend to wear them for work (at an office) or for quick errands when my feet need a break from my heavy support shoes. I usually wear a 8 1/2, and thats what I ordered, but these seem to fit wider feet, so if you have a narrow foot you should size down by a half. I tried to do that after I ordered, but these shoes were too popular, so I wasn't able to. Mine fit pretty well even after a month of owning them, so it all worked out!
