Designed in a wide-width profile, these athletic shoes feature synthetic and mesh upper for durability and ventilation. These vegan-friendly shoes also have recycled laces and webbing offer, recycled airy mesh lining, partially recycled mesh footbed cover and partially recycled EVA foam insole that encourage sustainability while offering the fit and comfort you need. With lightweight EVA foam midsole, every step is stabilized and made comfortable. Grippy rubber outsole keeps you going steadily.
These shoes provide stability and a very nice cushion at the same time. Aggressive grip on a durable sole these shoes provide a good width for an avid hiker with bunions, arthritis and bursitis. My feet are fragile but these shoes help me do the things I love to do. My only complaint is that the laces are too short so I had to replace them. Everyone is building these squishy foam shoes now, those are terrible for me and I really appreciate these. Seriously well priced also. I’m taking them to hike the Camino de Santiago this fall.

Great product for wide feet.
Very comfortable for wide feet and has a deeper heel that allows for orthotics. I wish they also made the hiker boot in wide too!

Comfortable and sturdy
I am really happy I ordered these online and on sale for an upcoming hike. Women's 10W were comfortable right out of the box, which is saying a lot for a woman 60+ with finnicky feet. Over one week of hiking in Oregon (Crater Lake, Silver Falls SP and Bend) up to 6 miles a day, never had a problem, they are sturdy yet lightweight and comfortable. I would say they are true to length and width. Definitely recommend.

Great Shoes
By far, Merrell shoes are the best for my feet. I'm flat - footed, and my left foot has started to roll inward. Merrell shoes provide the best support!

Good for many activities
This style is a good sneaker option. Lighter than boots, but tough. I wear them daily for work, gardening, walking. The mesh uppers breathe well.i appreciate the wide width option.

Perfect
Wore them for a weekend at the Gorge in Washington for a festival, they kept my ankles safe on uneven terrain and kept my feet from hurting when standing for hours or walking far. And they still look brand new so I’m sure they’ll last me for many years to come

Merrell Women’s Speed Strike 2 Wide Width Shoes
These shoes are very comfortable, especially if you have a wider foot. I stand for 8+ hours a day so I need a good shoe to keep my feet comfortable, and these shoes are excellent.

Good fit, very comfortable.
I use these shoes everywhere. They are so comfortable that I can no longer stand my other shoes. I ordered a pair of moab 3 because I no longer wish to go back to other brands.

Comfortable Arch Support - not waterproof
FYI, while many Merrell shoes are waterproof, these are definitely not. The salesperson said they were, so I brought them home -- turns out they are so comfortable, I kept them anyway. These have an arch support that suits my feet -- and they aren't too soft like many running shoes are these days.

Worth the price as always
Once again, Merrell doesn’t disappoint. These are the second pair of shoes I’ve owned from them and I couldn’t be happier. These fit so well and are so comfy. My only wish is the toe box was slightly wider, but overall I’m happy. I got to wear them for the first time this weekend going camping, and I was able to comfortably wear these from sun up to sun down without any discomfort whatsoever. Paired with a great moisture wicking sock, and your feet will feel great and not stink lol.

All weather hikers
The shoe fits great because it’s a wider style. It seems well made and because I’m a vegan, I like that it’s faux leather. It seems sturdy and waterproof so will hold up to hiking in any conditions.

What a great shoe!
I did my research. I wanted a shoe that had a wider toe box with great support. My choice did not disappoint! These are perhaps the best shoes I have ever owned. They hug my feet just right, when laced, it does not cut off my circulation on the top of my foot. My feet felt wonderful after standing for 4 hours. I will definitely be purchasing Merrells the next time I need shoes!
