Always buy Merrell shoes and boots - same size and width. Always happy with my purchase. Don’t find these comfortable for some reason- cut in on instep and causing pain. Not sure if it will settle down with repeated use. Have used them 3-4 times.

Comfy and waterproof!
Bought these for a trip to Iceland as my regular hiking boots were not waterproof. I wore them for two weeks prior to break them in but they honestly didn’t need breaking in. They were comfortable from day one. They were definitely waterproof yet didn’t feel heavy. I love the touch of purple on these black shoes.

Very good
Bought these immediately before a walking/hiking trip to Scotland because I realized, too late, that my previous hikers were not very water resistant. These not only kept my feet dry but were immediately comfortable with a good pair of hiking socks. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic hiking show
I wore these shoes for the first time on my trip to Banff, Alberta. I did several medium length hikes and my feet were super comfortable! They are light, breathable, and provide excellent support. Very happy with my purchase!

Your feet will thank you!
These shoes provide “straight out of the box comfort”. I love the arch support and sturdiness. I recently tested them out on a rainy hike and my feet stayed dry. I am out with my dogs everyday, regardless of the weather, so the waterproof feature is a must. I liked them so much that I bought a second pair in a different color. The only drawback is that material definitely feels synthetic. Regardless, they have become my “go to” shoe.

Comfort in the left not so much in the right
I have only had these a few days and am torn on my review. The left shoe fits amazing and so comfortable but the right shoe is smaller and tight on the top of my foot. Not unusual but this is more than expected. I walk twice a day so am hoping it may stretch. It makes me so sad as that left shoe is so comfortable and probably the most comfortable I have had in a long time. Will try to give that right shoe a bit more time to catch up.

Solid Walking Shoe
Although not as comfortable as my original Moab Hiking boots, these shoes are very comfortable for reasonably long distances. They provide good support both in the arch area and heels. I did, however, have to purchase a half-size larger than my normal size as the size 10 was a bit short for my toes. I was able to insert my orthotics without problems. Very solid shoe, and I would purchase again.

Good Tread, but odd size and a bit clunky
I wish I could give a better rating. They were not my first choice, sent to me as replacement shoes. Despite the other reviews - I do not find them that comfortable and I find them quite "clunky" to look at. Size wise, I have always been a size eight. With these, they seem a bit large and honestly, they do not seem equal. (One seems larger than the other). I do like the black/purple colour and I do like the grip they have.
