Excellent Shoe
I bought this product in December 2022 and so far, its my my best shoes for all errands and walks. Once the leather relaxes, you start getting the rewards from it. Great traction on ice and protects me from slips.
Yes, I recommend this product.

What a Disappointment--not the same shoe it used to be
2 years ago
I have a pair of these I bought a few years ago and absolutely have loved them so much I wanted another pair just like them. They arrived today and I am sorely disappointed. First, the color is not even close to that in the pictures. The brown is so dark I thought it was black until I looked at them in bright sunlight. Second, the quality has diminished tremendously. Third, all the padding in the shoe that made it so comfortable is now gone. Looks and feels like a $35 pair of shoes. I will be returning them and I guess shopping for some Merrells or Keens. I hope I don't experience the same disappointment when I purchase my next pair of Timberland Chocorua Trail boots.

This has become my "go-to" shoe for outdoor work.

I purchased the Men's Mt. Maddsen Slip-On Shoe in October 2022 about a month before a trip to Northern Ireland. I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip-ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip-ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use (I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made. (This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)

Quality of this shoe

The shoe is comfort but the quality of leather after 3 weeks use is not acceptable.

Awesome shoe
I've had a pair for over 5 years and just replacing them with an identical pair again. I absolutely love these shoes. Some do complain about the lip digging into the ankle which is true when they're new, but if you use your fingers and kind of curve it back a few times after a week or so its fine.
There is excellent grip, awesome insole and good quality overall.

Replaced with same after 15 years
I was very happy to find the same Timberland shoe available after ~15 years wearing the first pair. These shoes went from business casual use, overseas travel, everyday use, and finally garage and yard work. They held up extremely well and were very comfortable. On wearing the new shoes I was immediately reminded to put in the sole inserts from the retired pair. The inserts raise my ankle bones just above the outer sides and alleviate uncomfortable rubbing. Otherwise the shoes fit like gloves.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Probably the best and most comfortable shoes I own
2 years ago
Seriously, the BEST and most comfortable shoes ever. Can be worn with a pair of nice jeans and give off the look of a nice boot but without the discomfort of a boot. For me at least, wearing a pair of Chelsea boot all day can cause some irritation around my ankle. With these Timberland slip-on, I don’t get that at all and it’s all day comfort! They do run a bit small however. I normally wear a size 8.5, but had to get a size 8. Highly recommend!!

Best all weather slip on shoe in the market
2 years ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good solid shoe , insides could be better but this has served me well for a nice walking shoe in both summer and winter. Does not slip easily in ice and has a decent grip. Easy to put on and off. Can be worn with or without socks for quick trips. I have worn mine out cause I wear it everywhere everyday and just bought myself a second pair to use for another year. Timberland still makes good comfortable shoes. Strong Buy.
