Bought this product again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am replacing an old pair of the same model hiking boot from timberland. The old pair is still in a fantastic shape, and not retiring. I just like to pounce over rocks and dirt in my hikes and these boots are really responsive and stable . These boots are also so comfortable to wear anytime anywhere, any season. In the winter you still keep your feet warm wearing these boots. The new color and leather finish on these new ones are really pleasant to my eye. Timberland has been around awhile, they got the shoe figured out! I have had the old pair of boots since 2009, and in the pic I uploaded you can still see how good a shape they still retain!
ProsAttractive, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish

Yes, I recommend this product.

Came a little scuffed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had several Timberland boots over the years, typically the 6", but was looking for something a little more versatile. These seem to be just as solid, but a little lighter and good for hiking or jobs that require a little more mobility. Very comfortable so far (though I've only worn them once), and already being waterproof is huge for winters in New England. Only issue I have is that both boots came a little scuffed, and even the stuffing was just laid on top of them in the box (instead of inside the shoe). The soles were still in perfect condition, so it doesn't appear they were really used, and not enough of an issue for me to exchange them.
ProsComfortable, Durable, Good Cushioning

Yes, I recommend this product.

Flaw in design of this hiking boot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this boot three times for short hikes and I am getting to the point where I cant wear it anymore. There is a thick stich where the tongue connects to the side of the boot, that stitch rests right on top of the ankle bone and feels like a rock digging into your ankle with every step. I have used thicker socks or doubled up on socks and that does help but does not eliminate it. I was hoping by wearing the boot that the stich would "soften" over time, but I have not seen this yet. Other than that major issue, I like the style of the boot and the area where the foot sits is fine and has room for thicker socks for winter hikes.
ConsInside Material, Uncomfortable

No, I do not recommend this product.

I truely woulwould buy Mt. Maddsen Hiker Boots again & again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have foot issues so I am extremely particular with what shoes I buy, and I bought a pair of Mt. Maddsens a couple years ago. I wear them with orthotics, and it is almost like wearing tennis shoes! My original pair are still going strong, but I have a couple heavy scuffs in them, so I continue wearing those for work, and wanted a new pair for other than work. My size was out of stock 2-3 months, but I waited and was pleasantly surprised when I got a Timberland email that they were again available, so I ordered them! I love the comfort, especially the soles that wear extremely well, but yet are easy on my feet. Best boots ever!

Very versatile

I got these hiking boots about eight months ago and felt the need to give them a positive review online. These have comfortably and dryly gotten me through a variety of terrains including: Iceland (hiking through volcanic rock and steep countryside with various water features), desert hikes in the spring including summiting Angel's Landing at Zion and the Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness Study of New Mexico, as well as surviving some pretty brutal winter/blizzard conditions at home in Kansas City. All I asked for for Christmas last year was "a high quality, all weather, waterproof boot" and I definitely got what I wanted.

Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I,m sitting down in front of the TV with it on, cooling it with your boot on. Ive been home from the grocery store for my wife for about 2 hours with this boot on my feet. Normally I would be in my bed time slip on,s. This boot is made well, looks and fills good , very comfortable . When I first got them, in a couple of days the weather was bad. With this boot the fill of it makes you walk with power and authority.. I love the two of the same pair I brought, black and brown. I ordered four pair. For the Holidays I gave a pair to a good friend. He notice the fill when He tried them on. Can't go wrong with this boot.

Buy at own risk, Timberland will not process returns.

Previous lifelong timberland boot owner. First picture is my prior pair that I hiked and backpacked in from 2018, hundreds of miles on them. They were due for a replacement so I ordered same model, same size, which is the second picture. I took them for a practice hike of about 4 miles and found their sizing had changed and the size 13s were now significantly larger with my feet sliding in them on downhill sections. Timberland would not process the return even after I cleaned them, zero scuffs and no dirt. Will never buy a timberland product again. Previous lifelong timberland boot owner. Bought a pair of Danner boots that fit properly and am very happy with that brand.

It's the Shoe I Expected to Get

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a pair of Timberland boots before and thought they were very comfortable. I bought this pair in preparation for a trip to Europe later in the year. Started breaking them in now. They are as good as I remember the previous pair. I did have to buy better arch supports, because the insoles that came with the boots didn't provide what I now need. Replacing them was easy and now the boots are giving me the arch and ankle support I sought and are very comfortable. I wear a 13M and was very pleased with the fit of these boots. Plenty of space with heavier or lighter socks. Just adjust how tight they are laced.

Yes, I recommend this product.
