I bought them for a trip. I wore them for 10 hours straight everyday from brand new. First probably 1000 steps were a bit challenging, but they broke right away and never had an issue again. There was a lot of rain, if you do not submerged your feet in water they keep you dry. Not waterproof but water repellent. Recommended.

I was looking for a shoe slightly wider and this one is still slightly too tight in the toe but otherwise is a very durable shoe. Easy to get on and off, i like the cushion is provides, very comfortable!

My new boots fit perfectly but the solution I had them treat them with was not waterproof as when I walked through wet grass my socks got wet.

Although it says not exactly as waterproof the sole shouldn't be feeling wet. I first-time used the shoe on snow day. Maybe this is only good for dry hiking days. Even so hiking trails are not guaranteed to be dry all the time.

This is the first time in years that im this dissapointed in a pair of shoes to the point of writting this review. I've been buying this "trend" of Sketchers for work as they are the perfect fit for my uniform, (previous versions were anti-slip), are water resistant, ect....but these...ugh where to begin...they are FAR FAR FAR away from being water resistant, they run a size smaller (im usually a size 10, ordered a 10, feels like a 9) at first i thought, ok, they are brand new, im gonna need to break them in before they get a bit comfier...that was so wrong of me to think that. 2 weeks after wearing them daily, they are still as stiff as the first day. Yesterday, i was so much in pain, i was ready to finish my day walking around barefoot. If i could return them, i would!
