Poorly made Sandals
The sandal is not made to be worn without socks. My feet were cut by the poorly made straps in only a few hours wearing them.

Men's Tresmen Garo Sandal as expected
I've had these before in Brown. They last a couple of years, last pair may have been accelerated by a big walking tour, will find out with these new ones ... hoping for 3 years. I had the foam version before and the padding starts to go after a couple of years so they are essetentially worn out then.

a bit heavy.
I find them a bit heavy and whatever. I'm walking on my feet don't look too much. Maybe I just have to get used to them but I wasted my money on them so I have no choice but to use them.

Ecco alternative
I usually buy Echo brand sandals but they were unavailable so I am giving Tresman Garo sandals a try. Fit and finish are comparable. Time will tell how the durable they are. I usually get 3 years out of Echo sandals.

Affordable Comfort
Bought these in the off season when there were not many men’s sandles to choose from. My husband only quickly tried them on at the store. They were put to the test for comfort as soon as we got to Mexico. The sandles were comfortable to walk long distances and took kindly to being worn in the ocean.
