Skechers Men's Tresmen Garo Sandal

Bought for my diabetic dad and he loves it super comfy

I bought three different brands to try them out - Sketchers, McKinley, & Columbia. The Sketchers felt fabulous until I started walking with it for some time when my legs started feeling fatigued. Makes sense as the soles are super-thick. I also love the fact that it is vegan, which is the only reason I am giving it four stars. The Columbia has leather, totally unacceptable for me.The Columbia was the lightest - almost as light as air, but boring looking. The McKinley was in-between in weight. If I could get the weight of Columbia and the looks of Sketcher, I would have been over the moon!

Soft and padded, but the straps and where straps and soles are attached pinch the bottom of my feet after wearung it for a while. I do not recommend it.

Very disappointed in this product. These are not a month old and they are doing the same thing as my previous pair. The heal cracks.

Skechers has really become the king of comfort in the casual market and they do it again with these Tresmen-Garo sandals. I bought mine in a beautiful chocolate color. They are very well made and at this price is fantastic for this quality. They have three velcro straps that allow you to customize the fit. I bought them in a 10, I am usually a 10 1/2 or 11 in a lot of Skechers shoes. The size 10 fits me great and there is a little room, so to me, they run big for their size. The footbed is very well cushioned and going over rocks with these feels like nothing.

After owning numerous sketchers shoes, I was expecting more from these sandals. I was drawn by the price point, however after trying to break these in for a couple of weeks they remain one of the most uncomfortable pair of sandals I have ever owned. They continue to rub hard across the toe tops, but it’s on the outside ankles of both sandals that they literally draw blood. They are quite hard and unforgiving. I now apply bandaids for cushioning when I wear these sandals and am hoping they will eventually soften up, but as of now, I am regretting this purchase.

Bought this sandal about a month ago and the cushioning is great. That said, I was wondering why I was having an issue with the strap that goes across the instep coming out of the ring. With prior brands, Teva and Nike specifically, I could slip my feet in and out of the sandals without running the strap through the ring. It turns out that the strap is about an inch to 1.5 inches shorter than those other brands. Not worth returning but I will keep an eye out for sandals that have longer instep straps.

Overall I really like these. I need them to walk in as regular runners and socks cause my feet to overheat badly. The main critique is I wish these were more comfortable in bare feet. They are not terrible, but, I wish they were a little better in this regard. Otherwise, I recommend these, the price is reasonable and I do recommend them if you are looking for a solid sole sandal. I would characterize these as a 'heavy' sandal so if you want something lightweight, these might not be your 1st choice.
