Ok, so the shoes are great too.... I bought exactly the same style (leather treatment was a little different) about 8 years ago and they wore well and felt comfortable. I was delighted to see them in my local store again in my size, so I tried them on to be sure. When they did not have my color, my friendly and efficient sales clerk ordered them online for me. They came, they are perfect, and I expect to get another 8 years or so from the new pair. It is DSW that made my shoe-buying experience awesome. This is actually the first time I have ordered online and I had the confidence to do it only because I could be certain of the fit in the store.

I've suffered from ingrown toenails most of my adult life. The Rockport SL2 wide fixed the problem in 2 weeks. They are well cushioned and comfortable to wear. After 9 months of wear, I've yet to shine them beyond an occasional wipe down with a damp cloth. The stretch bands on the side are short and tight, so you get the same secure fit on the last day as day one. The only consideration is that there is little arch support. If you have flat feet, you should consider orthotics or a different shoe. The memory foam cushioning starts flattening out after 7 months, so I'd give it a year at most before replacement.

Went looking for comfortable loafers. I wear size 14 normally and DSW does not usually carry size 14 in stores. Tried on some 13s hoping for some luck... these shoes were amazing! the size 13 fit my usual size 14 foot. Also, on initial glance these looked wider than i normally would wear but they fit beautifully, cushioned and best of all the shoes were super light. The brown ones look modern with jeans, stylish. So I bought a black pair too for work. Can't stop getting compliments on the brown and every day at work very pleased the hold up no tired feet.

Needed new dress shoes and kept putting off the steps (no pun intended) to actually pick out and buy a new pair. Went to work one day and noticed how bad my previous shoes were looking. Let alone the lack of any sort of comfort I knew that DSW was only 2 minutes away from my office. I drove over, looked through the selection and found exactly the style I was looking for. I put them on a soon as I left the store! I would recommend these for anyone who is on their feet a lot or with any foot issues at all and require inserts, orthotics etc.

Bought these for my husband to wear to work (new job requires business attire). His commute involves a 15 minute walk. He loves these shoes. They are easily the most comfortable and lightweight dress shoe he has ever worn! They don't cut into his the back of his ankle. The shoes provide cushion, but they're light enough to climb stairs all day. He had to run (as in, sprint) to catch the train one day, and these shoes were up for the task. After wearing these for a week, we bought another pair, so that he has brown and black

This shoe is the lightest men's shoe I have seen on the market in recent years. I travel for business quite often, so I am constantly removing my shoes for security. I love that these shoes are comfortable and easy to travel in. The only downside is that the construction is a little narrow along the top, so if you have wider feet, slipping them on and off may be affected. Otherwise, I think this shoe is rather comfortable and I would recommend them to others.

I have to drag my husband out to buy new shoes. All of his good shoes were in bad shape. We went to two stores and he couldn't find a comfortable fit for his wide foot. We spent 40 minutes in DSW and he found 1 pair of black loafers, one brown and a pair of dress shoes. He loves all of them. They fit great and are very comfortable. I paid for these loafers. Then he found the other two pair. He really is excited to have such comfortable shoes.

I've been wearing this shoe a couple of times a week for a few weeks now. Slip-ons often times have the tendency to lack structure, allowing the foot to roll and causing long-term pain. This shoe has great structure, and my feet have been feeling better ever since I started wearing them. Despite the structure, the shoe is very comfortable. I often walk long distances outside in these shoes, and my feet feel great. I would highly recommend them.
