I had to go down a half size in these but I’m glad I did that instead of returning them. Very comfortable and not stiff like some other waterproof boots. I haven’t tested the waterproofness yet though. Highly recommend!

Great boots! Broke them in a few times prior to using them for my Canadian Rockies hiking trip. Super comfortable and lightweight with solid support. Would recommend!

Very comfortable, good arch and ankle support! I sized down half a size and still have a just a bit of space to wear wool socks when the weather cools down. I can't speak too much to the waterproofing because I didn't wear them in the rain, but they held up in a slight drizzle. Laces do become loose and untie easily, so I have to tie a really tight double knot.

These shoes are NOT waterproof. Do not buy these shoes if you need them to be waterproof! It's too late for me to return these shoes or I would! What a waste of my money!

I have tried other brands of shoes..and Merrell shoes are the only shoe for me. I am not going to waist my time on other brands that just don't hold up to my Merrell boots. I did go up a size just because as i have aged my feet swell and i don't care for my feet to be uncomfortable..glad i did.. and i can't tell they're size 11....i am and always will be a loyal customer..so worth the price to.. 😊

I am a long fan of Merrell's products and those boots are still very comfortable but they are NOT WATERPROOF! my boots were soaked after 20min of only drizzle, very disappointed.

In recently purchased these boots for a hiking trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. I have had other pairs of hiking shoes and boots from Merrell and they have always been comfortable and well constructed and the Speed Strike 2 did not disappoint. It felt both comfortable and stable on rugged and steep terrain.

These are my first hiking boots and I did a lot of research and tried on a lot of boots to find the right ones. They broke in really easily and are really comfortable for long hikes. The height supports my ankles and prevents them from rolling on uneven terrain and the grip is pretty good! One star removed because my feet slipped into a river and my feet were damp, so I suppose not fully waterproof but close!

Very comfortable and stylish looking, did not need to break them in. I did a 4hr hike in rain/snow. Feet comfy and dry. They will be too warm in warmer weather but great for fall/spring/winter. Highly recommend 👌

Bought these for my wife cuz she is reoccurringly getting sand in her shoes on beach walks. Now we have the perfect shoe for the beach walk/ rainy day walk/ even potentially a snowshoe hike. Cons: They really suck for fancy dinner parties, swimming or sleeping. Do not bring them to hot places. Feet will melt above 30 c She gives them 2 feet up. And I say they have sole. They look like they're well made. I hope we both outlast them.

I own many, many pairs of Merrell shoes, and most of them are very comfortable. However, I have never worn anything as comfortable as these. I have problem feet and always had blister issues with hiking boots, but I didn't even think about my feet for an entire day of hiking and walking in the mountains. I just ordered a second pair for backup. The only thing is that I had to order 1/2 size larger because they run small. I usually wear 9.5 M, but the 10 M is perfect. I NEVER thought I'd find hiking boots that I could wear comfortably. These boots are a dream come true!!!!!

I normally wear a 7.5 , this is a 6.5, nice and fits my wider foot. I will def look for another pair if it wears well. Extremely good traction! 👍👍
