May last forever!
I bought these shoes 3'4 months ago as I had to walk several miles a day on cement. I had previously been able to use the barefoot shoes that Merrell sells, but when I switched to cement, they had to be put aside. There is barely any wear on these shoes. The tread is a hard enough rubber to last forever. The only visible sign of wear is the inevitable dirt that gets on them. I have no doubt these shoes will still be worn for quite a while despite all the miles I put on them. I can always count on Merrell for quality. Thanks, Jim

An alternative to Moabs
Trying these as an alternative to Moab series. These are a bit lighter, and are longer and thinner than a comparable size in Moab. The toe box is tighter but still comfortable for my wide foot. As these are more of a runner style, I find that I have to lace them up tighter, which can be uncomfortable after several hours. The primary reason I am trying these are that they have a different sole. With the Moabs I have had issues with the inner sides of the soles collapsing after heavy use (I am a letter carrier walking 20 km per day). It is still too early to tell if these are better. First impressions are that these are a lighter, slimmer version of the standard Merrells we all love. So far they are fairly comfy, are well ventilated, and offer decent grip. I hope the tread holds up!

Great Shoe
Purchased the wide width and orthotics fit well. I was experiencing extreme ankle pain (injured years ago), and of course this was causing lower back pain. These shoes have significantly reduced both as they are sturdy. The insoles aid with over pronation. The soles and uppers are stable compared to many that I tried on. They look very similar to a running shoe, so I can wear them with every where. I am very pleased.
I would recommend the Shoe co to a friend.

Excellent hiking shoes!
Very good shoes; excellent for hiking. There's rubber bumps on the bottom and they're slightly slanted backwards to give good grip when walking on grass or dirt (as well as the design around the bottom room being slightly angled for grip). The front of the shoe is raised up to prevent any strain on your toes as your tip your hind foot forward while walking.

Good for light hiking.
I use my Merrells for light hiking on rocky desert trails and roads in Arizona. They provide good performance on both types of terrain. These shoes provide breathability in the desert, which is becoming harder to find since most are waterproof. The wide fits my weird feet and provides good support on trails.

Great brand
I bought these for me husband who has a bad back and needed to attend an all day work function on his feet. He has never worn the Merrell brand shoe but said they were comfortable all day and his back did not bother him at all. Highly recommend these shoes!

Great shoe so far...
Actually a shoe that is true to size. 10.5 EE fits just like my Danner work boots. Alot of other brands I half size up especially being a wide footer. Wore out of the box no break in without issue. There will be more Merrells in my future.

Comfortable

Finding a larger size hiking sneaker that isnt too narrow is difficult, these fit amazing. They aren’t too heavy. Wore them for a hike to break them in before our big hiking trip, don’t think it was needed. Very comfortable sneakers
