Merrell Boys Hydro Moc Sandal

Various shoe makers have me at a size 11 or 12, depending on the manufacturer, but these Hydro Mocs definitely ran an 11 with space to spare, which is good because you don’t want shoes like this pressing in your toes. What impresses me is that these actually have arch support, are much more flexible than the competition—but still offer confidence while wearing—and are much more breathable. Having that extra space allows for socks during cooler seasons, while the material is great for running around rocky, watery areas in the summer. Easy to rinse if you’re wearing them at the beach, too. I loved these so much I’m buying a pair for my wife. Gonna take these on an upcoming trip where we’ll be doing tons of walking.

My son wore his hydo mocs to school for the 1st time today and one already ripped on the side. I bought them for his summer camp where he's playing on a playground, and in a creek or trails all day but they didn't even make it through a day in school. He loves them but I'm concerned that even if we get a replacement through the warranty, they'll rip again. I see other reviews showing the strap breaking off too. So sad about this because his Walmart brand and Totes brand have lasted all year but I loved the features (staying on better and gripping slippery rocks) and fit (arch support) of these hydro mocs. *I tried to upload the photo of the shoe but it won't let me using my phone so I'll update, if able on another device.

The sizing in these are way off. I ordered two pairs for my twin boys in size 6 and both seemed like they were a man’s size 6 in that they were big all over. Then I reordered a size 5 and they fit lose but better than the size 6 which is their normal kid size shoe. I would size down a whole size or two if your child has narrower feet. You def don’t want these to fit lose because it’s easy for the foot to slide in them if too big.

I’ve owned a lot of crocs. While they are super practical and relaxed, they look too much like Crocs. So I tried these. They are good, but are a little too tight fitting to be useful in true beach and pool situations. More prone to rubbing and trapping fine sand against your skin. They also take a little more effort to slip on your feet due to the slightly slimmer profile. Otherwise pretty solid, better looking and comfortable.

I got the blue pair for my son a few months ago. He likes it a lot and finds it comfortable. They are lightweight and easy to rinse off. And they don't have the odor that the Keens sandals sometimes has. Only downside is the sizing. He normally wears a 2, I had to go up in size. Also tan marks, after a day in the sun he's got polka dot feet. So I make sure to apply sunblock.

I bought these for both of my boys (6&8) and they’re fantastic for so many reasons! Easiest shoes for flights, I love the straps and heel back on them so they don’t slip off easily (they can actually run in these compared to bulky, loose crocs), we went boating in Guntersville Alabama and they float and dry quickly, too! I’ll be getting a pair for myself and my husband, too!

I have now purchased a third pair from my son as he's a growing boy and these are the absolute best water shoes I am not a fan of Crocs I would never purchase Crocs and I am so glad that I have this I believe these are the original and they are made really well and stand up really well lake Beach pool Arizona New York New Jersey They are fantastic and they've been everywhere

I'm back for our 3rd pair of these and they are great for kids. Crocs they can actually run and play in without falling off. My son who is 8 has seriously ran 45 miles in these at school. He won't wear anything else. Sizing is a little weird but he wears a size 2. I also have a pair for my 4 year old and he loves them too. Little kids size 10
