I love this converse..stylist and very light on the feet.this is my second converse..i can’t wait to wear it on summer..

I had my doubts about whether or not I was going to like the way that converse shoes looked so I put off purchasing a pair for a very long time. Let me tell you - I have NEVER been this disappointed with myself for having waited this long to invest in a pair of shoes. These are by far one of the most comfortable athletic shoes that I have ever worn! ... They run true-to-size, are the perfect width, and actually look really nice with a pair of jeans. I purchased them in black and am contemplating getting a couple of other colors as well! 5 stars plus more, for this wonderful shoe!

These Chucks are as cool as they were when you were in high school. In fact, they're a bit better. It seems like some improvements in arch support/cushion have been made. I can wear these all day without feeling like I need to cut my foot off. Would I wear them to work if I were a nurse and was on my feet all day? No - for that, get a serious comfort tennis shoe with a lot more shock absorption and arch support. But for a great classic look that's pretty comfy on your feet all day, fits snugly, and is timeless, you can't go wrong with these. You can't get half sizes, of course, so if you are a half size, buy the next whole size up. Example: I'm in a Women's 9 / Men's 7, but normally I wear a women's 8.5.

There's a reason that Chuck Taylors have become a classic. They are timeless in their ability to blend with any current fashion trend. I'm not someone who enjoys shoving my feet into pointy-toed, high heeled "cruel shoes" so converse and jeans are right up my alley. Although Converse, like all sneakers are flexible, they have very little built in support (Sadly true of most shoes). I just use a half insert to cradle my heel and provide a bit of arch support. With that small addition I can wear them all day. I can say that they have a good long lifespan as this pair was purchased to replace a pair I've had for many years. I just toss them in the washing machine when they get a bit too soiled and after air drying, they are good as new. I'll never be without a Converse wardrobe!

These certainly go with a lot of things. The reason for four stars is because the sizing isn’t standard for American women’s shoes. I read tons of reviews that said size down a half size. DSW’s own sizing guide that tells you what size to order, based on shoes you already own, told me to order an 8. I did and it was way too long. Can’t order a 71/2 because they don’t come in half sizes (which is weird), so I have returned for a 7. Hope it works. these are best purchased in store where you can try them on.

I recently purchased the Chuck Taylors after years off from them. I last wore my all white ones out in college and this time I decided to go with the classic black. Now that winter is over and I packed away my boots, I needed shoes that would be my go-to casual/weekend shoe. I originally ordered the women's size 7 because of the reviews that they run big, but I had to exchange for the women's size 8 (I usually wear 8, sometimes a 8.5). The 7's were just too tight with socks for comfort. The 8's were definitely roomy but not too big. They are on the wide side, but I think that's what makes them such comfortable walking shoes. I thought the cap toe might pinch/hurt my toes, but it does not. Overall, these are MUCH more comfortable than my previous pair of Converse, which were the Jack Purcell style and much more narrow.

These only come in full sizes and since I typically run about a 6.5 - 7, I ordered in a size 7. I think I should have got the 6. Since they're not slip-ons, and I will wear with socks, the room is okay but if I had the time to be returning and all that (which I dont and that is why I order online in the first place!), but I would return them and get the 6. There is quite a bit of room. Hope that helps! Otherwise, they're chucks - cute, comfy and versatile.
