Converse Women's Chuck Taylor All Star Classic Chuck Sneaker

I love these shoes. I have been buying the same model for 8 years now when I was living in France, and now in the Us too - in France and Europe these converse shoes are very popular... I always want to change the color but end buying the same white model. They are really cool with jeans, but also with more fancy trousers for a relaxed Friday wear-weekend style, or in the summer with shorts. They are also very solid, I've had my previous pair for 6 years (and I decided to buy a new one only because they were a bit too dirty, but they are so comfortable, I can't throw them away!). I highly recommend these shoes.

After wanting to buy these shoes for almost a year I took the plunge around Christmas time and "treated myself". I got the shoes the week before Christmas and the first time I wore them they gave me a blister on my left heel. It was painful to wear once that blister appeared but I got blister band-aids from Walgreens that had a cushion on them so it wouldn't rub when I wore them. After about a week they were broken in and I wear them ALL. THE. TIME. I'm flat footed so they are comfortable to me and go with my everyday outfits of leggings and hoodies as well as jeans and t-shirts. So happy I finally purchased.

Initially I bought a knock-off version of these on eBay with the intent to save money. However, because the knock-offs were so uncomfortable (the metal lasing hit in the wrong spot and the overall knock-offs were much heavier), so I decided to give these authentic ones a try to see if there was a difference. While they're not as comfy as my Sketchers GoWalk 4, they're more comfortable than the knock-off Converse I previously bought elsewhere. They're "comfortable enough" and they offered more insole support than I thought they would. Great light weight and stylish summer shoes to wear with no-show socks!

I just purchased my 2nd pair of Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakers! The 1st pair also purchased at DSW several years ago, I was unable to wear due to having several surgeries on the 4th & 5th toes on both feet and the size 8 being too big. I had wanted to try another pair but was afraid the canvas would rub my toes sore. I tried on all the Chuck Taylor's in DSW size 8 and wasn't really satisfied until I tried this one in size 7.5. 7.5 is the magic number in this one for me. The size is perfect, wide enough for my feet and doesn't rub the area of my toes where I had surgery. I am really happy that I decided to try on the 7.5. I can't wait for DSW to get the Chuck Taylor All Star Sneaker in Black!

If you're looking at this shoe, you need to get it. TODAY. It'll be the best decision you've ever made. It's so comfortable and it looks so cute! It'll go with everything you wear - leggings, jeans, skirts, dresses, leather! The fit is great - true to size. What they look like online is exactly how they look in person. The color is almost neon, so I try to keep it as white as possible because it looks incredible - they really stand out from the entire outfit. I've gotten lots of compliments and I believe that this shoe should be in every shoe lover's closet! Take my word!

With spring being oh-so near, I decided it was time to buy myself some white chucks. I've had my black pair for 7+ years now and I'm so glad I've added the white to my collection. They fit perfectly (note: I'm typically a 7.5 but in Converse I know my size is 7) and the quality is just as I expected. Shipping was fine- I ordered on a Saturday afternoon, received a shipping confirmation on Monday and they were at my doorstep on Thursday. It's now Tuesday and I have yet to take them off. I was going to wait until it warmed up to wear these, but I just couldn't hold out.

These shoes are classic and comfortable enough to wear all day, every day. Every girl at my college owns a pair and wears them daily so they're worth the money. I sprayed mine with a fabric protecting spray to prevent stains. Also, they definitely run large so order a half size down. If you're between sizes (like me) I suggest going with the smaller of the two sizes, but don't go down an extra size. I'm usually an 8.5 or 9. I got the 8.5 and they're still a tiny bit too big (but I've also tried on converse in a size 8 and those were too small).

Who would of thought I'd be reviewing a pair of Converse All-Stars a good forty years since my first pair. HINT: These are unisex. Just because the website shows them out of stock - check the opposite sx and convert the size. They may have them. My local store had just a couple for men and a huge selection for women. These do run big and you may need anywhere from 1/2 to one full size smaller than you normally wear. A classic shoe for shorts, jeans, khakis... I've even seen them worn for dress. Pick up a pair... again. You'll love them!
