Run small and narrow, not enough toe room

I bought these Clarks a few weeks ago after reading a bunch of reviews saying they were comfortable. I usually wear a regular width 8.5. These definitely run SMALL and narrow. After trying on a few pairs, I purchased a size 9 Wide and I’m glad I did. Even with the bigger size and width they still weren’t the most comfortable. The toe box is narrow, my toes went numb half way through my work day. Hopeful they will stretch out a little? If you’re going to spend the money on a good pair of heels, get Naturalizers. While they still run small (again had to get a 9 Wide), they offer much more cushioning on the inside and are a lot more comfortable for wearing all-day.

Comfy and classic

I ordered a 9wide and it fits a little loose, but with an insole, it would be perfect. There is a slight platform to the shoe, which give a little more height. They are very comfortable, but I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the size was not consistent for me. Additionally it took 3 tries before I got an unworn shoe. The first two were obviously worn and returned, which I thought was against DSW policy. The clerk try to pass it off, but when I insisted that they looked worn, which was clear by the lack of tread on the heal on one side, it took showing the manager to convince them that it was used. Overall I am happy with my purchase as they are very classic and comfortable.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love These Shoes!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes! They are the most comfortable pair of high(ish) heels I've found in a while. I can wear them all day at work (which entails quite a bit of walking every day) and end the day without pain in my feet or blisters on my heels. They look great, too: these aren't your typical Grandma comfort shoes! The only complaint I have about them is that the heel gets marred very easily - just driving in them tends to mess up the back of the heel relatively quickly. Wish the material were just a little bit more durable, even if it meant that they were a little bit more expensive.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Something Changed

I have ordered this same exact shoe twice before, and loved the fit and style but this time the shoe is very snug and it appears the sizing is different (although I ordered same size and same width as before). Instead of returning,I held onto the shoe thinking it was me…it’s not me and have worn other shoes and now I’m past the return window. Even after losing 15 pounds, the shoes are very tight and have caused blisters. Beware…and try them on before you buy. Very strange because I always have loved my Clark pumps and booties. Disappointing for sure.

Comfy!!

I bought these for a flight attendant interview. I read Clark’s is one of the most recommended brands for flight attendants. I purchased a half size up because my feet are a little wider than most and there wasn’t a wide option, but they’re not too long to walk normally in. I wore them for the 4 hour interview with lots of walking from the parking lot. Absolutely amazing! My feet weren’t even hurting by the end! Most comfy work pumps I’ve ever purchased. I’ll be buying some much shorter heeled Clark’s for in flight, but I’m in love!

Impossibly comfortable

I needed a bit of a platform so that my boot-cut pants wouldn't hit the floor (I can't walk in any heel higher than 3" but needed just a tiny bit more of a boost to keep the pant cuff from dragging). Clarks' reputation for comfort is well-deserved; not only were these comfy right out of the box, but my first day wearing them to work turned into a 14-hour day on my feet. I kid you not--I felt like I was wearing flats (and cushioned ones at that). Yes, these are *that* comfy. The platform actually lessens the slope of the arch, making them deceptively high while cradling the bulk of the instep. Rounded toe, non-slip bottom--these are In.Cred.I.Ble. If you want your legs to look like they go for days (and your feet to feel like they could), buy these!
