Cute BUTTT

These sandals are really cute..they are comfy and look good however the top part like someone else said starts hurting the top part of your foot but its not the buckle its the part under the buckle that after wearing it for a while, which for me was half a day, it made the top of my foot hurt so now its sore and I thought maybe If I wear with socks to break them in it might be ok but it still hurts :(
So unfortunately I might return cause I don't want to hang on to them past the return day and not be able to wear them...
Now if your feet aren't sensitive like that on the top totally get them..
Worth it and they look super cute!!

Big buckle can be bothersome

I love the color, look, and overall comfort of these shoes. They are super cute, but the big plastic buckle can be bothersome at times. There's no give to it because it's plastic and it definitely hurt my toes at first. I've gotten used to the fit and design, so it's not been an ongoing problem for me but definitely something others should be aware of when consider this style for purchase. I don't think this would as much of an issue/concern if the buckle was made of silicone or even coated in silicone. Maybe something they should consider for the future. Overall, these are super cute and I would purchase again. They are very lightweight and fit my foot perfectly.

Super lite and comfortable

Absolutely love the shoes. So lite, and extremely comfortable. The resin buckle gives the shoes a nice stylish design. Dress them up with a lite summer skirt or a casual outfit. A few compliments first time wearing them. I was worried that my feet would sweat and stick to the plastic. Glad to say, none of that happened.
Definitely getting another pair in a different color.

Love the big buckle Madrid. I own 2 pairs of these sandals from prior years before they had the big buckle and they still look great after 3-4 years. They fit great, feel great and look cute! You can dress them up or down. I think they look more feminine than the Arizonas. I can wear them to the beach, camping, gardening or just to look cute. Get them dirty, wash them off. I take my dog swimming at the lake and I wear them in the water. They have the same footbed as all other Birks and are very lightweight. 5/5

Elegance in a different sandal

Love Eva Birkenstocks. These make the outfit more elevated and elegant while practical. Can even make a beach outfit look elegant.
I love Eva’s when my feet are tired. I thought them to Rome and they are nice but they got caught in too many cobblestones making it hard to walk.
This style takes more time to break in with rubbing then the Arizona style comes naturally soft I think. But these fit like a glove!

Not So Great

I’ve worn a similar style for years and love them for the garden and beach because they’re waterproof. But this large buckle style is not my favorite. Buckle seems too large and you can feel it on the inside top of the foot. They aren’t as easy to walk in as the double strap style. I think I’ll be returning them. Also they’re plastic so why so expensive?

I’m very happy with my vegan leather Birkenstock sandals. They are extremely comfortable, easy to keep clean, and a great choice overall. I don’t regret buying them at all. I’ve owned Birkenstocks before made of real leather, and while that has a different feel, this vegan leather version is comfortable in its own way and works really well for me.

Disappointed

Silly me did not keep the box and now I'm stuck with these! They are SUPER uncomfortable. I wore them to work once and by mid day my foot under the buckle part had a deep sore indent. I wish DSW could help me out with this as I still have the receipt and the sandals are in perfect condition.
