My foot is slightly above average in relation to width, so I usually have to order bigger sizes. I’m normally a size 11 but I had to go up to a 12 for this shoe to fit, and even then it’s still kind of tight on my pinky toe, making my pinky toe fall asleep sometimes. Again, my feet aren’t super widthy, and I think it’s really misshaped the foot from how narrow it is. However, I think it may be worth it for the style. It is still a good looking 2000’s/skate shoe and it doesn’t crease easily. I would still recommend to my friends with narrower feet, however not those with wider feet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a big Adidas fan who has owned many Adidas shoes, I have to say that these are one of the most uncomfortable pairs I've ever had. The sole provides no cushion at all; it feels like I'm barefoot. It's also very stiff, making it feel awkward when I walk. Additionally, the shoes don't vent very well - after wearing them for just one time, my feet got really hot, which is a sensation I've only experienced with rain boots before. The only reason I'm keeping these is that I'd already thrown away the shipping carton and don't want to find another one to ship them back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my son and he is very hard to please.When it comes to buying shoes. He absolutely loved the fit, loved the color. These new shoes have actually started a whole new trend for him. They're comfortable, in fact, I bought him three pairs of jeans that he never wore once, then I got him these shoes, and he busted out the jeans and has been wearing them and rotating them. I definitely recommend these shoes, for any teenager, my son in particular, is seventeen wearing a size ten and he has a kind of a wide foot, and they fit him perfictly.

The quality of the shoe is near perfect, I think the materials used are extremely nice. The only downsides were awkward sizing and uncomfortable soles. There wasn't an option for wide feet, so I opted for half a size larger than my usual, and it still felt a bit strange to wear out as the shoes are quite narrow. It was also a bit uncomfortable to wear them out for even a quick errand, but I assume I have to break them in a bit more. The soles are super hard so I recommend purchasing a pair of insoles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this shoe because of the style and color scheme. I also bought a pair for my Bro-in-law for Christmas. However, we both experienced the same issue. The area where the toes bend while walking has a ridge that crosses over and presses into the toe joints. This sound prove to be very painful after only a few hours of us. I’m shocked that no one else has has this issue. Instead, I see very good comfort ratings. Maybe we just both got bad luck with this one.

Harlemites have always been at the cusp of starting fashion trends and for hoopers "The Shell" became the thing because of its look in all white, all black, or black with white stripes or white with black stripes. Now a days, we get to rock different colors and so I DO!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the break start shoe, but for my size, a 12 I didn't like the overall appearance. I'd say in a size 10.5 or smaller it probably looks better. I ended up getting the superstar 2 originals instead and I like the look of the superstar 2's better in a size 12. They're about 3x more expensive than these, but sometimes you gotta pay more if you want that certain look.
