Teva Men's Hurricane XLT2 Sport Sandal

These shoes are very comfortable. The straps make it easy to adjust them on your feet so you get a perfect fit every time. One complaint is where the lower ankle strap is located on my foot. I bought a men's size 8 because the footbed is wider and when I walk long distances my feet tend to flatten - but the lower ankle strap was rubbing just under the bone so it was very uncomfortable. The size is important - I found that the men's size 9 - although bigger and longer in my toe area but the straps were in the perfect position - was like walking on a cloud. I didn't want to take them off.

Wore these on the beach a couple times during my honeymoon in the Bahamas and Florida earlier this month. I have plenty of flip-flop sandals but I bought these because we were going a wave runner excursion and I wanted a sandal that I did have to worry about loosing while in the water. No one locally had aqua socks so this was my best compromise. Our excursion was cancelled but I'm glad I got these because they are a lot more comfortable to walk in that your regular flip-flops.

Very disappointed. I bought a pair of Hurricanes, thinking that I would spend a little extra for a good pair of Tevas’. After two years of what I would consider light use, the soles separated. The straps and tread were still in good condition. I use them for light yard work and an occasional beach vacation. And I live in Minnesota, so they are in the closet for half the year. Probably won’t be spend money on Tevas’ anymore.

I usually wear Teva Universal sandals, but when I tried this model in clearance at my local store, I was drawn to the support offered by the shaped footbed. Also, as I was seeking a sandal to be worn with socks for the fall, the Teva Hurricane having a thicker sole and thus a bit more insulation from the ground appealed to me. Very comfortable!

My son chose these for himself and he's selective in style but he likes them upon arrival. Colors are good, clear and a picture here of both of them together would serve better. Purchased for a trip to a rain forest and before he left he commented on their comfort level. Doesn't normally voice opinions so this is a very good sign for the shoe.

You’ll feel like Thor as you trek through the wilderness. Completely adjustable in every direction to get the perfect fit. Sole has enough cushion to shield you from pointy rocks, but are stiff enough to feel the terrain and keep your balance. The only way they could be better is if they added three inches to your, well you know.

Don't get me wrong, the XLT2 is still a very comfortable shoe. The only shortcoming is they no longer offer half sizes. I went with half size down, the length fits just right but forefoot feels narrow. Loosing the front strap helps only a bit. If you have wider feet and OK with a loose fit, I suggest to go half size up.

This is my forth pair of these Teva sandals made with nylon straps and each has lasted about 5 years which is amazing. I am proud to sport the Teva foot suntan. Wonderful quality and price. Sweaty feet destroy sandals made with leather but these nylon ones stay comfortable and take years of use and abuse.
