Slip-ons are silly

I am a woman with a prosthetic leg and size 11 shoes. I often have to buy men’s shoes as it’s hard to find a size 11 in women’s. I tried these on in store and thought they would be okay as long as I could tighten the laces. SO, I bought some laces and cut out the glued slip on laces. Of course the shoes still won’t tighten enough and are too big. It’s too bad they glue the laces in rendering them un-returnable. That’s a lot of money to be out and I now know to never buy slip-ons again. Trying them on in store for two minutes isn’t good enough to trust they will work for me/my prosthetic leg. So disappointed.
