adidas Men's Kaptir 4.0 Sneaker - Men's

These are super comfortable and fit great right out of the box. I especially appreciate how easy they are to slip on and off - you can pretty much tie the laces once and forget about it. I also appreciated the upgrade to rubber tread, but unfortunately the rubber started peeling off of the outsoles within a month of getting the shoes (with fairly light use). I got about a year out of my Kaptir 3.0s before the tread completely wore off and I’m about to toss these after less than 2 months. I know they’re inexpensive for a reason but this is disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best adidas shoe. I’ve been saying it since the 1.0 and they’ve got it back from where it fell off the mark in versions 2.0 and 3.0. The rear pull tab is super easy to grab. The cloud foam is the key factor this shoe is my all around all day walker. Easy on and off and the rigid heel doesn’t collapse like older models when attempted to step in hands free. This shoe better never leave the lineup @adidas. Just keeps getting better. I have 6 pairs of these 4.0 in different colors. This is my second black pair. Let that sink in. It’s a great shoe!

The Kaptir 3.0 style, looks, durability, awesome reflective shoe laces, different material, colors, everything were a million times better overall than the Kaptir 4.0! Some things should be left alone. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL KAPTIR 3.0!!

I was looking for something to replace a worn out pair of ultra boost DNA 1.0. I found these online only in order to pair in my regular size 12 It was way too big. I subbed these out for an 11 1/2 and I probably could’ve even done an 11 but the 11 1/2 fit great. I love these shoes. I can slip them on and off easily and leave them tied, which is exactly what I was looking for. They have a lot of support and comfort and they seem to offer more foot protection than the old ULTRA boosts, which wore out very quickly. I think this shoe is quite similar, but it’s better made and it seems more resilient to wear and tear. I use these for kicking around town and riding my E bike. I love the gray color. I wish they had the tan in my size I would’ve bought both pairs. Can’t wait to see how this shoe develops in the next version.

I’ve been a fan of Adidas Kaptir shoes for a while, and this pair continues to deliver solid comfort, good support, and great style. Overall, a reliable everyday shoe that looks good and feels even better.

These shoes are pretty comfortable and breathable. Good all day sneaks. They have a lightweight sock-like fit. Many adidas I wear a 9.5 but these I wear a 9, and was even thinking of trying the 8.5s. I didn't want to deal with the delay of returning and now have been wearing the 9s happily for a few weeks. I have a little space up at the toes but they are still snug enough to do active stuff in them. I wouldn't hesitate to climb a fence, ride a bike, chase after my dog, or do anything a sneaker should be able to do in these. I mowed my lawn in them and added a bit more green to the crisp white color, so I may toss them in the wash and see if I can keep them staying clean. I don't plan on using them as running shoes but wouldn't worry about it if I got invited on a last minute group run and I didn't have my other stuff. Good shoes for your feet on the trail or the street.
