Great shoe for very active kids

nice fit and beautiful design… My very active 7-year old son has flat feet and only NB in wide shoes fits well ever since he learned how to walk. Other brands make his feet hurt. He wears this type of shoe for active days: running, basketball, tennis and biking.. this shoe was really helpful during his triathlon because it has that BOA feature, making transition from swim to bike faster; re-lacing up and laces loosening were definitely out of picture during the run

Perfect shoe for young ones

These have been the perfect transition for our son. He still has toddler wide feet but long enough for boys size shoes. This provides the wide toe box I wanted. The wide fits great and the way these “tie and untie” is beyond perfect for a 3 year old. He confidently puts them on and takes them off. This is his second pair and they hold up well with an active little boy. I can’t say enough good.

Great quality and so easy for the kids to use

We LOVE the BOA closure for shoes in our house. I always wish there were more color options each season. Our kids love them and we would buy more then one pair usually if the colors were updated more. The dial is so easy for the kids to use, and they come in wide options which is better for my son. The soft purple color was purchase for for 5yo for back to school and they look really nice!

New Balance for the win

My son has wide feet and New Balance in general fit him really well. I’ll probably keep buying them until he wants something else. These shoes he swears are so comfy. He’s so happy to put them on. I love the fact that we don’t have to fight with laces and there’s no Velcro to stick to everything, I would definitely buy them again when he sizes up.

Great alternative to velcro - adjustability is key

Our son is still learning to tie his shoes so these were great. He learned the BOA system quickly (he's 6). We had some issues with velcro not sticking after a few months so these are a great compromise. Our son has narrow feet so the adjustability is key. They're durable and last well (they won't wear out before he out grows them).

Great for kids or those struggling with tying

Velcro shoes do not work for my kindergartener. He is always sliding out of them and the velcro always loses its stick. These are great because he can tighten and loosen them on his own and the button doesn’t lose effectiveness like the Velcro shoes do. Highly recommend for any kiddos struggling with shoe strings and Velcro shoes.

Game Changer for Little Kid Hands

Excellent shoe; this is our second pair for the same kid. My little one used to ask me to help him tighten his velcro strap shoes EVERY time he put them on. This was a game-changer for me and a fun way for him to do more on his own. First pair lasted until he was ready to switch sizes so very sturdy as well.

Wonderful for kindergartener!

My kid knows how to tie shoes, and always leaves the laces dangling anyway. These shoes are so quick and easy for my kid to pop on and off, and tighten up (as if they were laced), they have been a game changer! The lightning bolts on the sides are a huge hit too :)
