Merrell Women's MOAB 3 Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Bought these to replace an old pair of Merrells, not waterproof. I had a couple of hesitations. One, my old pair of Merrells was slightly too narrow in the toe box and I was concerned that these would be as well. I ordered the regular width in a half size larger this time, and found these to be comfortable from the first wear. I also encountered mud and water my first hike out in these and they performed as promised. My feet stayed totally dry! My second hesitation was the price, however, in this case, you do get what you pay for--a high quality shoe that will last for years. Very satisfied with this shoe and glad I purchased them.

I have been wearing Merrell shoes for nearly 3 decades. After discovering that my favorite Siren Sports were no longer being made, I tried a pair of these Moab 3 Waterproof shoes. Sadly, I have to say that these are the first, and most, uncomfortable pair of Merrell shoes I have ever owned. My feet ache after just a few hours of wear. They are holding up alright, but I can't even wear them all day. I have read other reviews on here from other longtime customers being similarly disappointed in their recent purchases. I don't know what has happened to this company, but I willl be starting a search for a new brand of shoes.

Bought my second pair of these because I loved them soooo much. My first pair last me a couple years and i still use them - they are just really worn into so I decided to get a new pair bc they are so good and beautiful. Wore my first pair like everyday walking my dog and going on hikes bc they are the most comfortable ive ever worn like seriously they feel amazing when im walking outside. they are also pretty flexible and good for walking on all kinds of surfaces!! I used to wear them in the rain and they would keep my feet dry but after a couple years they no longer truly keep my feet dry but overall they are AMAZINNGG

The moab3 is fantastic! I bought these for a week-long hiking trip and only wore them for about 20 minutes around the yard before taking them out on some pretty rugged trails. They were absolutely comfortable! No stiffness, no blisters. They did great on easy trails and on rugged, rocky, steep trails. I ordered a size 6M which is my normal size for most boots and tennis shoes, and they fit well for summer. If anything, I could have gone to a 6.5 to account for when I may wear thicker socks in colder weather. However, I wore an ankle brace with the left shoe and it was fine. Love these shoes way more than I expected to!

I’ve had three pairs and I love them. They keep my feet dry and good grip when walking on various terrain. My last pair were same size as previous pair but when I got them they were about half size too small. I was heading away for vacation and decided to keep them. I should have returned for half size up. I’m going to order another pair half size up as I’m certain they’ll be perfect. The ones I did wear worked out ok but my big toes suffered the whole time on our vacation. Great price and value I have some relatively new ones going into donation bin. I’m able to wear my older ones until newer upsized ones arrive.

I was initially apprehensive about purchasing this waterproof shoe because I generally require a narrow width. Well, I took a gamble and am thrilled that I did. By making the laces extra snug I was able to create my narrower shoe, but with plenty of toe room. Just love how they provide me with good grip and stability for both general walking as well as both walking and hiking on uneven and hilly terrain. I am 79, and my husband and I love to walk/run our golden retriever. These shoes not only keep my feet dry, but provide me with more security as I am walking. These also were comfortable right out of the box!

I never got the chance to find out if they were waterproof because they were 1/2 inch too small, even though I ordered my size, 9.5. Width was fine, but I couldn't even wear thick socks because not enough room in the toe area for thin socks!!! I should have returned them, but I thought maybe I could break them in and they might fit better. Nope. Very sloppy construction and design. That's very unfortunate since I have many pairs of Merrells in 9.5 that fit perfectly. These were way too expensive to have them as a show piece on my shoe rack. I do not trust Merrell anymore and afraid to order anything.

These shoes fit perfectly and comfortably from the moment I put them on in the store. I bought them for a trip to Ireland and wore them every single day for two weeks.. I wear them now for my daily walks at home. I bought a second pair to wear working in my garden and doing landscaping chores. I wear a size 7 in sandals and everyday shoes but purchased a size 8, which is what I wear for running shoes. I recently wore these shoes to pressure wash our sidewalk and although my shoes did get wet after six or seven hours with the pressure washer, my feet were never soaked, nor did the shoes feel squishy.
