Rich looking shoe
This is a great show. Very comfortable and the colour is a rich chocolate brown. Looks great with jeans and a skirt. I went up half a size. The size 9 felt tight across my foot.

Scuffed soles
The rating is for DSW, not the shoe. Received my cute shoes today. The bottoms were scuffed and had clearly been worn and returned. Bad form, DSW. I will return to the store to exchange because the shoe is super cute.

Your Policy
Absolutely. I’d make it firm but reasonable, emphasizing that this was an exchange/fit issue rather than a change of mind, and that you were effectively penalized for trying to find the correct size. I was very happy with the quality of these shoes, but unfortunately, the fit is quite tight, so I wanted to try the next half size up. When I went to order the larger size, I was surprised to see that the price had increased. I contacted customer service to see if you could simply honor the price I originally paid, as I was not trying to return the shoes because I no longer wanted them. I simply wanted to find the correct size and planned to keep the pair that fit me best. Unfortunately, I was told there was nothing that could be done. I therefore had to return the original pair and purchase the larger size at the new, higher price. I was offered a $10 coupon, but I don’t feel that adequately addresses the situation. I find this policy quite unfair. I am not returning the shoes because I changed my mind or because I don’t like them. I am trying to purchase the same shoes in a size that I can comfortably wear. I am now being charged more simply because the price changed while I was trying to determine the correct fit, in addition to having to deal with the return. I was very happy with the quality of the shoes and would have been happy to remain a customer, but this experience has unfortunately left me questioning whether I would order from your company again. I would appreciate it if you could reconsider this situation and honor the original purchase price for the replacement size. I believe that would be a fair and reasonable resolution.

not cushy
a bit stiff and a bit narrow. I'm hoping they will soften with time. Right now they seem likely to blister my heel. they do look nice.

Not Comfortable for All-Day Wear”
The shoes are not comfortable at all. They hurt my feet a lot. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them for a full day, especially if you’ll be on your feet and moving around a lot.

Pure Love!
Very soft leather, no worry about blisters and goes great with work styles and play including jeans. They do stretch easy so if you can handle a smaller size at first or take them to get stretched, I recommend. I did this with my second pair. My first pair I have to wear socks or an insert.

Liked them so much I bought another color!
These are great loafers - stylish, well made, structured well so they're easy to slip on and off and the suede is beautiful. Although the suede is soft as you would expect, the construction of the shoe is solid so you don't feel that the sides will collapse with wear as I've experienced with other shoes. Love how they look with jeans as well as other slacks. I do wish the brown pair was more a chestnut brown; these are a very dark brown with purplish cast

Unique color
I bought these in store and love the color. They’re a unique shade of chocolate brown that almost has a purple undertone. They fit well and are comfortable but a little stiff. I think they will get better after they’re worn a few times.

Nice loafer
I ordered these in the chocolate brown and the color was lovely. The fit, however, was not. The shoes were a bit tight and uncomfortable and lacked having enough cushion and support. So I had to return.

I’m on my feet all day and this is a great loafer! I think they are very good for somebody who has narrow feet. I love that they are suede and so black. These loafers are true to size true to size
