Great Quality at this Price

I've been looking for a dark brown knee boot and was considering brands like Tony Bianco, Aquatalia and Vince and just happened to try these on and bought them on sale. I'm 5'6", and this hits me just under my knee perfectly. From the top of the heel to the opening, the boot shaft height is just under 16" so you might want to measure from the bottom of your foot to compare.
My calves are around 13-13.5" and there is a LOT of space, but I wear jeans or thick knee high socks, and I like the oversized look on me as it doesn't buckle at the ankle. I'd say these would easily fit up to a 15-16" calf.

Heartbreak

I really hate that I love these boots, the way they look, the rich color, the perfect size heel, the way that the shaft fits around my ankles and calves, the fact that they are designed for women with long legs, finally, because usually I have to get over the knee boots for them to actually be knee-high for me. What is heartbreaking is that there is a stiffness to these boots that hit on the top of my foot as I walk, making them uncomfortable, and un-buyable for me. I have not found, even though I've been searching high and low this season, boots that I love in every other way so much except where it matters the most, comfort. Alas, I'll keep searching. I may have to go and try on every pair in my size in all of my local stores and see if maybe one pair was cut just right for me.

Defective brown polish

The polish is coming off the boots showing an orange finish. Both of them. It’s more like spray paint rather than polish They have been worn 2 times.

Great boots for the price!

I wasn’t sure on the quality but for $50 bucks these are great! I had bought the high end version of leather that came in scratched up and had to return them. So I found these that look identical and they’re perfect! True to size, I’m between a 7.5-8 but always get 8 in boots and I wanted a more snug fit on the calf so I got regular fit and they fit great on my 16 inch calves. If you want more room get the wide calf. They also feel comfortable not gonna be hard to wear them!
