Keds Women's Maisie Mary Jane Grosgrain

I just got the black pair today. I ordered a size 11. I always order a size 11 and I have over a hundred pairs of Keds. Not joking on having that many pairs. I order up a size to leave a little toe room and normally I have a little toe room but with these I don't. These Mary Janes feel like a 10 1/2 on my foot. They also feel snug on the sides of my foot. They may stretch out a bit when I wear them but we'll see. They are also a weird vynl type canvas. Not quite what I was expecting. I wish they were the typical canvas material. Sorry but I don't agree with the first reviewer.

I bought these a few days ago and I'm so glad I did! They're very comfortable, the strap doesn't dig into my foot but keeps me securely in the shoes. I prefer to wear them with lacey socks, but I think these could be worn with those no-show liner socks if you wanted to. The grosgrain material is very pretty in person and the bucket is cute. The strap is adjustable but also slightly elastic so you can slip them on. I sprayed my pair with Scotchguard, but ended up with some yellow spots on the rubber soles, so cover those with tape if you do the same.

I decided to try this style because they were cute to wear with dresses. I ordered online and when I first tried them on I noticed the they were tight at the top fabric of the foot. I had full confidence that I could break them in and the top of the shoe would stretch. I wore them during a full work day and ended up pain. I have had different styles of keds before without any problems and this really disappointed me. Unless you have a really bone-y foot, these will hurt the top of your foot.

I have worn these about six or so times now for extended periods and the top part of the shoe just hurts so bad. It doesn’t stretch out like I thought it would, but leaves my foot feeling bruised. I bought the size I normally wear in all of the other slip ons, so it’s not a sizing issue. Otherwise cute shoes, but painful.

These are cute... but... the top of the shoe that goes across the toes is extremely tight. After leaving them in shoe stretchers for almost a week they are slightly better, still tight, but better. I would recommend sizing up if you have a narrow to normal foot. Would not recommend at all for a wide foot.

Such a cute shoe. Had high hopes. But like others have said, the fabric around the tie area is much, much too tight. I have regular feet. Never had issues with my normal size being too small. But for these to fit, I have to take the inserts out. And even then they are a bit tight. So disappointing.

I need a little black show to wear with black pants I haven't bought a Keds since a kid! I did not read it has a buckle, I hope it was velco. The pad inside is thick to give good arch support. I might get a thinner insert because it makes shoe tighter. I do have narrow feet and hammer toes.
