Excited about these shoes

I got these as a gift, despite the owner not wearing them for the first time yet, we both are excited for him to wear them,. I got these with a discount for a failure on the received past purchase, and despite being disappointed by the past experience buying at the store online, the amazing employee and manager, made up for a failure that was not theirs and gave me a 5 stars + customer service

They suck in water

The shoes absorb water, there must be damage in the weld somewhere, I wore them two times and ended up with wet socks, and it pretty much step into the snow from my office to the car. No heavy use at all.
