Columbia Men's Waterproof Bugaboot III Wide Width Winter Boot

This is a limited review (the boots have not been tried in the filed during winter season): - From what I can assess, the build quality of the boots is high. - The sole has deep threads which I think will come handy on packed snow. - The boots are light and comfortable to walk in. - The reason for the 4 star rating is that the boot appears to be a bit short for the size, and a bit tight on the top (if you have bigger feet, you may find the pressure to be rather uncomfortable).

These boots are sturdy, warm, comfortable and not heavy, definitively great gear for winter! Main discomfort is that the sole extends out of the shoe at the sides (just an inch fraction), which needs time to get used to when driving a car (to avoid stepping on both pedals at the same time). Also need to avoid direct friction between boot and leg as it gets uncomfortable when walking.

I'm an 8.5W. I ordered these in a 9 and they're extremely tight, both length wise and width wise, which is odd, because I've worn Columbia's before. I was expecting a lot more from a boot advertising itself as "Extra-wide", but these are very visibly not wide.

Fits very narrow. Need to return. Size up from your normal size.

i tried on the size 10 as it was the only size available. i mentioned i wear a 9.5 wide.I was told 9.5 wasnt an option so i said the size 10 would be fine...but im unsure of why she ordered 10w.I didnt know she chose the wide option for me. i really didnt have any other option when they arrived so i wear them. they are beautiful boots but are a bit big. i would definatley buy another pair of 9.5 for the same deal i paid for these...these boots actually fit larger than the size 10 regular that i tried on in store at pine centre mall in Prince george B.C Im thinking a 9.5 regular would be perfect. i paid 125 plus tax on sale for these. it would cost double to replace them from sport check

These are the best winter boots I have bought so far, they are warm waterproof and have enough toes room to wear thick socks as well. The only reason I haven't rated them a five is that the neck of the shoe rubs into your calf a bit until you break them in.

I have a really hard time with any kind of Shoe or Boot as I have to wear an Orthotic insole so I ordered a size 9 at first seeing they were wide but they were a bit too tight at the instep with my Orthotic so I ordered a size 10 but the size 10 was too big length wise & they didn't have a 9-1/2 available so had to return them. Aside from that they were comfortable & very light & for the width it was plenty wide I found even with my Orthotic insole. If they would have had a 9-1/2 I think they would have fit & I would have kept them.

Light weight, warm and comfortable. This shoe had amazing reviews which prompted me to buy it for my teenager. And it lives upto my expectations. It is indeed a warm, wide & gives good warmth in negative temperature. I suggest to get 1 size up to your regular fit. Perfect winter boots.. Highly recommended!
