Clarks Women's Sara Bay Ballet Flat

What's going on with Clarks? They've been my go-to for years, and now two pairs in a row are unwearable. I kept these when I first bought them back in March because at first blush they fit and felt comfortable. Then the first time I wore them they cut up my feet (at the heel and in the toes.) With my long Clark's track record, I assumed I'd be able to break them in and they'd be good to go, but it's been months and they still pinch. Clark's leather is usually soft, flexible, and comfortable right out of the box, but this leather is HARD and unyielding, and the shoes are tighter than I'm used to for a 7.5. It's too late for me to return these now, but I hope my comments helps others.

Love these. Very comfortable and stylish for the office. I have to do a lot of walking and these are perfect for what I have to do. I did not have to wear any socks with them either. I did have to up a half size because my usual size was just a little tight. Now they are a little big but it’s something I can live with. I got them on sale which is perfect for me. Knowing how comfortable they are I am willing to pay full price when it is time to replace them. I got all black since they can go with everything. Thank you Clark’s for making a comfortable non grandma looking flat!

I bought these for work since I do have to dress in office attire but I need something comfortable because I do have to see kids. This flat is soo comfortable and do not bother me all day! I have the black ones so they go with everything. I am curious to buy the taupe ones but I am not sure how brown they may look. I bought them on sale so I got an amazing price at DSW. I got a 9.5 and they fit a little big but the 9 were too tight for comfort and that’s my usual size. I would definitely buy again when these are done! Please please don’t stop making them!

I have worn Clarks before and found them very satisfactory. I bought this shoe because I needed a good walking shoe. I can be on my feet for a considerable amount of time. The left shoe fits perfectly. It is comfortable and has a solid foot bed and support. However, the right shoe is not sized correctly. It's a bit longer in the back and there is too much room. I will have to exchange them. I do hope I can find a pair where both shoes match. Sorry I can't give them five (5) stars. Quality control was lacking.

I really wanted and expected to like these. They looked perfect -- still do, online. But they didn't fit my feet at all and usually I am a perfect 7.5M. Going by other reviews, it appears that a lot of other women find them comfortable. I was disappointed when I tried these on and knew instantly that I needed to return them. On the positive side, at the DSW store I found a serendipitous replacement: Steve Madden black ballet flats. There is a show out there for everyone. This one just wasn't mine.

I purchased these in black, because I needed a flat shoe for work that still offered support. These Clarks did not disappoint. They provided both extreme comfort and support from the time I put them on until the moment I took them off - no matter how many hours I needed to wear them. After my initial experience with the black pair, I had to buy another. The pair in metallic of course provides the same level of comfort with a neutral yet stylish color that goes with anything.

This was the first pair that I tried on in store and it fit like a dream! I tried on similar shoes for comparison, but none really compared to the ultra-comfort of this shoe. This shoe is similar to Walking Cradles brand; it feels like you're walking on clouds! The toe box is roomy enough and does not pinch my toes. I wish that the shoe was a bit more stylishly embellished, but I value comfort over style much more. Your feet will thank you for this purchase!

I bought these for myself in black for light evening wear to gatherings. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly. I like the rubberized sole because they are slip resistant unlike many other shoes I looked at prior. I am not sure how comfortable they would be to wear all day because there is not much arch support. If this is a concern, choose a different shoe. I like the way they look on my feet also!
