[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these and a pair of Glycerin for work, fully intending to have to send these back. I ended up sending the Glycerin back because I didn't like the new fit in the heel. These of course were not as cushioned for a chef who is on her feet all day, sometimes 12 hours a day. I resolved that problem by adding an inexpensive insole on top of the insole that came in the shoe. They run a touch wide, which is usually a problem for me, as I have slightly narrow feet, but the extra insole took care of that issue. Definitely recommend!!

Wanted to love them

They seemed narrow and didn't fit at all like the regular Revels. One shoe was drastically different than other. Returned and got a second pair of the Ghost.

Wow!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to purchase this Revel Max as I was worried it would be bulkier than what I like. I love my Hyperion Tempo and I'm glad I bought several pair before it was retired. I rotate the tempo with a couple of pair of Brooks Launch 11 & 12--which I like, but not nearly as much as I love my Tempo. I walk at least 3 miles, 7 days a week and sometimes as much as 5-6 miles a day, so I'm always looking for comfortable new styles. The indigo color of the Revel max caught my eye as I love the bright vibrant colored sneakers! I did some research and read reviews, and decided to order them. Based on some reviews, that said these run a big big, I did order a 5.5 instead of my normal size 6. I'm very glad I did because the toe box is definitely roomier than the tempo or the Launch and the 5.5 fits perfectly! Right out of the box I've walked 15 miles in 3 days with absolutely NO issues! They are surprisingly lightweight and I love the airy bounce with every step. The shoe laces are a bit stiff but I think they will soften up the more I use them. I am surprised at how happy I am with this purchase! I would order another pair if they had another color that I wanted to wear. Definitely recommend giving these a try!

Great shoe

Great sneaker!

I am glad I sized down 1/2 size, as I think had I ordered my usual size 6, they would have been too big. The toe box is definitely roomier but the overall weight and feel of this sneaker is wonderful. I was worried that they were going to be bulky, but they aren't at all. I love the light, airy bounce in each step. I love the indigo color and I wish this sneaker came in other bright colors. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

Cushioned Comfort Daily Trainer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Revel Max was a new experience for me. As an average-distance, daily treadmill runner, I am used to high-drop shoes with heavy support.Out of the box, the Revel Max feels incredibly plush and comfortable, like a gentle hug for your foot. The design naturally guides your foot strike to roll smoothly into the next step. While this took some getting used to, I quickly adjusted and grew to love it for daily, low-impact walking.However, it didn't quite provide the arch support I need for running. I have worn the exact same style of shoe for 12 years, so my body is highly adapted to it. The Revel Max has about half the drop of my usual shoes, and my body hasn't fully adjusted to that change yet.Visually, the shoe has a basic, clean look with no flashy colors, making it a great everyday option. The mesh upper keeps your feet cool, and the entire shoe is extremely lightweight. Ultimately, it is an excellent shoe for daily casual wear, but due to my history with high-drop shoes, I won't be transitioning to it for running overnight.

Great Running Shoe

It performs well for running and walking. I’m not sure if all black is my favorite for a shoe, but that doesn’t affect the performance of the shoe. Amazing bounce!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Brooks Revel Max shoes! They were incredibly comfortable right out of the box and felt soft and supportive during my run. They provided great cushioning without feeling too bulky, and my feet felt energized and comfortable the entire time. The fit is fantastic, and they made my run feel smooth and enjoyable. Definitely one of my favorite running shoes I’ve tried! I also mowed the lawn in them today and loved the support they gave.

Great Running Shoes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Revel Max is an awesome walking and running shoe! I would highly recommend it for smoother surfaces for walking and running. These shoes are one of the most comfortable pairs of running shoes I’ve ever worn. They feel very supportive and lightweight. The mesh upper is very breathable, which I loved. The upper felt flexible, yet supportive, so they fit extremely well with movement. I feel that this shoe is perfect for daily wear, work outs, running errands, and long walks, and smooth surface running. I walked for nearly 12 hours at a theme park in these shoes, and they did not disappoint! Overall, I would say the Brooks Revel Max shoes are well worth the price. I am only giving it 4 stars due to the overall appearance of the shoe. I would highly recommend these shoes simply because the comfort is unmatched!

Amazingly comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the most comfortable walking/running shoes I’ve ever owned. They are incredibly supportive. I have been wearing them for walks in my very hilly neighborhood and have zero foot/back/leg pain afterwards. I also wear them to work as a nurse and they are great for busy shifts where I am on my feet a full eight hours. I can tell these are high quality materials and well-made. They are sure to last for a long time. Super happy with these!!

It’s like walking on clouds

The cushioning is soft and supportive without feeling too bulky, they’re true to size and super lightweight. I got the all black and I love how versatile they are. I average about 20 miles a week so am interested to see how long they last but so far it’s definitely a five-star shoe for me!

My new favorite shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Rebel Max by Brooks are PHENOMINAL shoes. I’ve had them for about 2 weeks now and they’ve undoubtably replaced my other running shoes by outshining them in comfort, support and versatility. I’ve been on a weight loss journey and do a lot of running and walking. I’m down 75 pounds with 75 left to go. As a heavier runner a good shoe is even harder to find because the support is often inadequate. That’s not the case with the Rebel Max. The shoes are so comfortable but don’t skimp on support. They don’t feel squishy or mushy like I’ve experienced with other running shoes. Solid support throughout the entire shoe! It’s my favorite thing about them - especially the added ankle support. I have a slight instep and these shoes help keep my foot in the proper position when I run leading to less impact on my ankles and knees. I also notice a lot of shock absorption by the soles when I run. It’s like running on a cloud. Beyond the amazing job these shoes do during my runs, they’re also just an all around great shoe. They are my go to for my day to day activities, walks, running on the treadmill and running the city streets. They’re stylish, lightweight and allow for a lot of airflow. Their construction is solid and their high quality materials make me know these will run the distance through the rest of my weight loss goals. I couldn’t be more pleased and I highly recommend these shoes to everyone! You’ll never choose another shoe!

Just a mid runner

The sole of the shoe definitely absorbs the shock and really lets you push off the toe easier. Only thing I wish I knew was that the top of the shoe isnt as supportive as I’m used to (not a bad thing just something to adjust to)

Comfort but with issues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these shoes for about 3 weeks. They were fairly comfortable. I wanted a shoe that I could wear for light walking and gym days with weights. However they had some issues with the arch area. It was uncomfortable after a couple hours of wearing. Also my left heel started hurting. The shoes were a bit long and my heel wasn’t really locking down even with different lacing. Also, I bought the limited edition Indigo color and the laces for that model came untied all the time. Very cool looking shoe, but just not for me. I’m thankful for Brook’s Run Happy program so I could truly decide if these were the right shoes for me.

Working Shoes
Great working shoes my shifts are 12 to 16 hours shifts and these shoes are so comfortable i do get and foot pain.
