Birkenstock Women's Arizona Birkbuc Sandal

It’s been awhile since I’ve owned a pair of Birkenstocks. This shoe purchase was sort of like seeing an old, beloved friend after many years apart. A few things have changed, like the synthetic straps, but still a versatile and classic sandal. Interesting that the women’s & mens are identical, I picked my pair from the men’s area because the women’s didn’t have the color I wanted in size 41. So just a tip, if you can’t find your size or color, check the other department ! Lastly come on DSW, start including these in your promotions at least “in store only” or once per year…geesh, don’t be so cheap.

I purchased these Sandles recently and I love them, especially the brand. As a tall women, I have very large feet, about a size 11.5- 12. Almost all the Birkinstocks for women at I was able to find, only go up to what they refer to as a size 42. However, they are still too short for my foot. I need a 43 so I had to buy the men's version. Luckily, they look exactly the same as the women's, as far as I can tell anyway. I think they look great on me even if they are labeled as men's! My only complaint is the sole is rather hard. For the price they cost, the sole should be much more comfortable.

Although I have heard how comfy these shoes were, I've never liked the look before, especially these, until I saw them on someone shopping at the store and realized how cute they actually looked!I bought these for myself and loved them so much that I bought a pair for my son. Great shoe! Just give them a couple of weeks to break in! You will not regret your purchase! I bought a pair last year for my two daughters and they loved them! Just today, one daughter's dog must've also loved them, he chomped them all up! She was NOT happy to say the least!

I have a high arch and was suffering from plantar fasciitis and haglund's deformity (aka pump bump) before I switched to wearing Birkenstocks 99% of the time. The narrow Arizona fits like a glove. It took about 3 days to get used to the harder sole, but once I did, all was well. I have a couple of other styles that I switch out with, but my feet prefer the Arizona. I usually replace every 5-6 months, but keep in mind that I wear these shoes from the time I get up until it is time for bed, almost every single day.

I wear a size 10.5 shoe, so I figured when I bought the Men's 10 - 10.5 sandal, it might possibly run a bit small. However, when I got it, it was over one inch too long. I will need to go back and order a 9 - 9.5 sandal to fit my 10.5 feet. That makes zero sense. Outside of that, I had my generic (licensed) Birkenstocks (Betula) for 19 years, yup, finally falling apart, so if the Birkenstocks last as long, and I can get the right size, I'll come back and update my review or post a new one.

I have several pairs of Birkenstocks and have worn them for years. This was the first pair for my husband - a podiatrist recommended them because he has problems with his feet. He has tried them - but never gave them time to 'break in' - the podiatrist told him to give them at least a week. He did and he loves them. Wears them every day when he's not in recommended sport shoes. I'm sure he'll get a second pair because they are so comfortable and help with his foot issues.

I bought these for my husband. He has REALLY WIDE feet (like could probably just strap the boxes in his feet) which makes it very hard to get him shoes that are comfortable. Birkenstocks were recommended, so I thought I would give them a try. He had to adjust the straps until he got them just right, but he has been living in them ever since! I’m pretty sure he would were them to work if I let him, but that’s pushing the “business casual” thing a bit too far. He loves them!

I have been wanting to buy Birkenstocks for 2 summers now. I was afraid they would be a fad coming back in (they were popular when I was in middleschool) and I didn't want to spend good money on a fad. Here I am 2 years later and they are still popular. You can't go wrong with these. They are comfortable, stylish, and last forever. GREAT quality. I got the mocha color because I thought it went well with my skin tone and also looks great with browns and black.
