Quality Birks
This is my second pair of Birks. My first lasted ten years, and about as many countries, so I'm hoping my second pair will have the same longevity. As usual, it takes a while to break them in, but after the blisters, they should be good to go for a long time. I bought the classic brown, but was slightly tempted by the newer colours. Expensive but worth it in my opinion.

Not As Comfortable As Advertised
I bought these pair in winter and wore them on sunny days with socks. Thanks goodness I did because that are very stiff with a long breaking-in period. Ended up with a couple of blisters on the top of my foot even with socks on! Not the most comfortable sandal to wear. I'm thinking of buying an all-rubber pair, which might be more comfortable with the support. I like my Oofus and ECCO sandals better.
