Not recommended for active 12yr old.
This shoe falls apart very easily, holes happen often. Third time purchased for my active son in sports and I wouldn’t recommend it. Shoe laces fall apart very quickly. No back support for foot.

Hurt my feet
I have two other pairs of Adidas both size 12 , I saw these shoes and fell in love with the style so I ordered them. I took one walk with them on with my dogs (about an hour long) and halfway through my walk I got blisters, and after my walk my feet were sore. They seem to fit fine but the more I walked the more uncomfortable they became. Which is a shame because I love the style and look of them. Now they are just sitting on the shelf.
