not as soft as the original, so I returned it.

I assumed the 2.0 would be an upgrade to the originals, but it's a lot stiffer and not as squishy soft. I ended up exchanging them for the originals.

There are pros & cons to the upgraded slides

I love how they included padding on the underside that keeps your feet snug in the slide on the top of your foot, which is super comfortable.... my issue though, is the comfort foam bottoms are made differently then the OG soft slides. I tried buying the black & white but it can get confusing figuring out which slides have that soft bottoms. The other slide i bought has a very hard platform (didnt need breaking in) ... i found what i was really looking for with the audi slides they have out now. I could feel the nostalgia as i put them on, ready to get another pair before they're gone! I'll wear these slides too, they're comfortable... just different. And Adidas really needs to up their game when it comes to variety of colors/styles

Comfort 1.0 are better & softer, these are firmer

I used the older Adilette Comfort (1.0) slides and bought the Comfort 2.0 expecting the same soft, indoor comfort. These are noticeably firmer and don’t have that same “sink-in” cushioned feel anymore. They’re fine for casual use, but not as plush as the older version. If you’re coming from Comfort 1.0 and expecting the same softness, you’ll likely be disappointed, I was. If you’re new to them, they may still feel okay, just not very soft. Bottom line: Skip if you loved the older Comfort slides. Otherwise, they’re average indoor slides.

Great slips for outdoor use and super comfortable.

I bought these for outdoor use, so I could mitigate any dirt showing on the outside. Great functional slips for everyday use.

The 2.0 was worth it—more supportive, more durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m honestly really impressed with these slides. I had the Gen 1 and wore them all the time—they were super comfortable. When I realized there was a 2.0 version, I decided to upgrade. I paid a little more, but in my opinion, it was absolutely worth it. The second iteration isn’t quite as squishy or rubbery as the first, but it still feels great. It kind of combines the best of both worlds—it’s a bit firmer while still being soft and cushioned. They contour to my feet much better and, in my experience, seem more durable. I also really like the updated design. I’m genuinely impressed. I don’t see myself buying another pair of slides anytime soon—though to be fair, I haven’t really tried other brands side by side to compare. Still, I’m really happy with these, and the flower design is a fun touch.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice slides

The 2.0 is more comfortable around the top of the foot compared to the first version. However, the footbed part is not as soft as the first version. The foot bed on the first version was amazing and the part around the top of the foot not great so overall I picked the 2.0 because of the comfort around the top. Adidas if you’re listening if you could come out with a 3.0 that is the best of both versions that would be amazing please and thank you.

Nowhere near as comfortable as older versions

Unfortunately these are not the adillette comfort slides of the past. The foot bed is nowuch finer than it was with the 1.0. so if is now less shock absorbing and more shock transferring. They aren't uncomfortable but they are nowhere near as comfortable as they used to be, which used to be the main reason for choosing them over other slides. The upper is now improved, fits more comfortably and snuggly over the top of the foot, and of a lot better quality than the previous version. But that's rather trivial when the actual part of the slide that you stand/walk on is now way less comfortable. Bought them to replace some of my old ones but so glad I hadn't thrown the old ones away yet. I guess I'll be wearing the old ones until they fall apart because I'm returning these. Maybe a 3.0 will revert back to a foot bed deserving of the name COMFORT slide.

Comfortable on my surgery foot!

I’m so pleasantly surprised. One foot of mine has some hardware in it making it higher around the front/mid-to-upper. I’ve tried multiple flip flops that compress & cause pain to that foot. This one is soft and warms up within a couple minutes to flex and accommodate my foot very softly but securely. Both feet are very happy! I have to wear shoes all the time or I tip over, so these shoes are my every day/all the time essentials.
