Increase Size a Smidge

I like my purse, but there are some things that would make it better. It needs to be a half inch to an inch wider so my key fob fits in it without the purse bowing out and it needs to be a half inch taller in height to accommodate a regular piece of paper folded into fourths. See picture. I have to attach my fob to the strap and I can’t zip up with a folded piece of paper. Love the look and I will use it, but I would not buy it again because I wanted simplicity and this isn’t simpler/sleek. One more thing. I would take care to send out a leather purse without scratches on it. They aren’t bad, but I probably wouldn’t rethink buying leather again.

Versatile crossbody

I highly recommend this versatile bag. I absolutely love the Iris Large Smartphone Cross body!! It is so convenient to use, while running my errands. I can carry all of my essentials and be, totally, hands free, which is so helpful during this busy holiday season. This easily holds my driver’s license, debit card, store credit cards, major credit cards, cash, and my iPhone, without being bulky or heavy. For extra protection, I can put it on, prior to putting my jacket on, which allows me to carry my valuables within my jacket. While everything is in this crossbody, I simply detach the strap and use it as a wallet, tossing this into one of my many the sak totes.

Amazing customer service

My purse came damaged. It looked like when someone opened at box at the warehouse my purse was probably on the top and it was sliced through with a box cutter. As soon as I opened the shipping envelope I noticed the slice through the protective plastic wrapper and hoped it wasn’t through the purse. It did slice through, but the damage wasn’t extreme. I just hated to pay so much for something that had a slice in it and could possibly peel after use. I reached out to support through email and I had a response within 24 hours that they were sending a replacement and to donate/give away the first one. Amazing customer service.

Great wallet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing my Iris Large Smartphone wallet from two years ago. Last one was made from canvas and served me well. I never used the crossbody feature, but appreciated that it easily held my phone for a quick trip to the store. Chose the black onyx leather Iris Large wallet this time, and it coordinates nicely with the Ashby Leather Satchel in Tobacco snake. The interior of the Iris is a light tan color, so it's not like reaching into a cave to find money or a credit card. One thing that would make this wallet better would be the addition of a clear I.D. pocket, perhaps on one side of the inside zipper/change pouch.

Versatile wallet/purse thingy

Great little purse/wallet. I started with the tabasco emboss but returned it cause the back was so smooth and looked susceptible to scuffing. I then went with one of the crocheted front ones which had a textured back which was much nicer. Not thrilled with them using a light fabric behind the crochet which makes for not as nice of a finished edge. But in general I like this wallet, it fits my key fob and chapstick. It would be nicer if I could keep my magnetic wallet on the back of my phone (phone doesn't quite fit in pocket with it) but no biggie, I just keep it inside the wallet when using outside of my purse.

Nice to grab and go for quick trips.

I like the idea that I can just grab this crossbody (I use as wallet basically), which I have just what I need in it, for quick trips to store, etc. It also fits in my purse for longer trips or when I want my whole purse with me. I have my drivers license, credit cards, key fob, and iPhone included in this ‘wallet.’ The only thing is that it’s hard to get my phone out, if this could be a bit bigger, maybe stretchy (?) at corners so that compartment could open up more. Also, I personally would like a little wider strap. The leather, if it is leather, shows scratch marks when I accidentally get my nails on it.

Great Wallet but I feel Material Quality is Declining

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Iris Smartphone Crossbody. I used my old one daily and was very happy with it. I had the old one for about 2 years and finally ordered a replacement after the zipper broke and the strap was worn thin. Which I fully expected after the heavy wear and tear it got. When I received the new one I was disappointed. The quality feels not as good and the shoulder strap is a joke. It is visible thinner and just not sturdy. I ordered exactly the same wallet but looking at them you can definitely tell there is a difference in the quality of material used. I am going to give this a try but I am not hopeful it will last as long as the last one. Needless to say I won’t buy further replacement here.

How this bag could be tweaked…

Pros…I like the concept of this small bag, the idea of having a decent number of credit card slots, a place for a cell phone, an inside pocket for change & paper money and a strap included to make it a crossbody bag. Cons…The leather is very stiff, the bag needs to be just a touch wider across, as the credit card slots are horizontal and they are not wide enough to comfortably fit the credit cards. This is a problem for many bags unfortunately. You can get the cards in there but with difficulty. I would also like to see the bag opening a little wider for easier access inside. I did notice there are fabric type versions of this bag which may have been softer on the outside than the leather, but I would think the cc slots would be the same tightness. If the company tweaked this bag as above suggestions, it would be ideal if you wanted something small and compact for times when you didn’t feel like carrying a bigger bag.

No, I do not recommend this product.
