SOREL Women's Tivoli V Waterproof Winter Boot

Super cute! I took ages deciding on a boot to treat myself to and eventually landed on these. While I love how they look, unfortunately I did not give the insoles one chance lol. There is really no arch support; thankfully they were easy to remove and I’ve been testing different insoles in them so I am able to wear them for walking and working. My normal size is a 9 so that’s what I ordered; there is a couple centimeters of toe room in front of my feet so I wish they were slightly wider and shorter instead of longer and narrow. Still happy with them I just wish for the price they would be more comfortable!

It took a long time to find the right winter boots, but these are worth the wait. They are very sturdy, even a little stiff when you first put them on, but they soften up nicely with wear. The bottom is chunky and very skid/slip resistant, great for our first real winter in the Northeast in many years with snow, ice and now slush. I feel confident wearing them to walk my young, exuberant golden retriever, because my feet stay dry even when he pulls me into puddles and snow banks. I also like that while they are lace-up, it's very easy to put them on, lace and unlace and take off.

I bought these boots a month ago and waited to write a review. There definitely needs to be a break in period, the boots are tight on your feet. After the first long walk with my dog, I had a blister. I am a size 10 in shoes and went with that for these boots, choosing not to size up like other reviews I read. I live in the Northeast US, so walking in snow often is to be expected. These boots have excellent traction and keep my feet very warm. I like that I do not have extra room in the boots for my feet to slip around in. I am overall happy and satisfied with this purchase.

They are made with such good quality and will last for a long time because of the material that is used. They are stylish even for a waterproof boot. I love how warm and comfortable they are on my foot. They also fit perfectly on my foot. I sized up from what I normally wear and it was the right decision. I also feel like it gives my foot good support which makes my feet feel so comfortable in them. I just love how good they feel on my feet and how stylish they are. I am in love.

They warm warm, stylish, easy to put on/pull off, comfortable, sturdy ... what else can you ask for? I agree w/ other reviews re: the size. I sized up by a 1/2 size and that was good, but I prob could have sized up a full size (I'm normally an 8, I got an 8.5 but I could have gotten away with a 9 if I wanted even more room). I have a bunion on one of my feet so having that extra space helps me personally. Overall I am very happy with these boots and will prob buy a second pair to make sure I have them in case they stop making this style!

I was between Tivoli V and Tivoli V Resort. Both were higher platforms, deep full bottom tread, true to size, fit orthotics, and calf height. The fur on Tivoli V is softer but less in quantity to the not as soft but thicker layer of fur on the Tivoli V Resort. The deciding factor was the Tivoli V has a weird feeling bilaterally (both sides) on the Achilles tendon as if the inside of boot material indents inward causing me to find it uncomfortable walking in my home. I saw this concern on others reviews for the Tivoli V and was hoping that having them 3 months post the concerned reviews from other customers would mean the company would have fixed what appears and engineering defect. However, the defect, as I call it, is still there. For this issue I wouldn’t recommend the boot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I haven’t had a chance to put these to the test in cold weather yet, I do really like them. The width and fit is perfect for me in my regular size as someone who leans on the wider side. They’re also comfortable so they don’t need to be broken in. The treads on the bottom seem like they’ll help a lot with traction and prevent falling on ice. I’m not sure how well they do with the waterproof feature or how warm they are, but I’m looking forward to wearing them this coming winter!
