Getting better all the time.

I think I am now collecting TR’s. The TR17’s are a nice subtle improvement to an already perfect TR15’s which I bought after liking the TR14. As you get older and more inclined to minor aches and pains, change can make you think twice about changing. 😁
It seems that in the TR series shoe, there’s nothing to worry about. Subtle improvements make it easy to adjust right away to a new shoe. I bought mine primarily to take the dog for walks and I have other Sauconys for running. I had a great experience when I forgot my treadmill shoes on vacation and wore the TR17’s. All I did was tie them tight and go!

Terrible Liners! Everything Else is Great

I have had my Excursion TR 17 shoes for about 2 months. They were very comfortable and fit well from the beginning. Within the first week, the fabric attached to the liners started separating (coming unglued) from the plastic underneath. This caused the fabric to bunch up/wrinkle in an uncomfortable manner. After tossing the liners and replacing them w/Dr. Scholl's liners, the shoes feel great. It's a shame shoes of this price don't have liners that match the quality of the rest of the shoe.

Best All-Around Shoe for Various Applications

This is my 6th purchase of the Excursion TR17. The shoe is amazing as it allows for a variety of uses ranging from cross training to jogging/walking, to weight room workouts. It is light enough to run the trails, and provides excellent lateral stability for cross fit training and weight room sessions. This is the best all-around shoe that I have ever owned. In fact, this latest purchase that I made is really just to have a back-up in the event that this show is discontinued!

I have a pair of the excursion 14 that I’ve been wearing for three years+ now and are still in good shape and comfortable. I don’t particularly like the changes that have made..they have a firmer feel to the sole and not as comfortable as the 14. I purchased the 17 on line and if I would’ve tried them on first in the store I probably would not have purchased them..

Great walking shoes

I bought these specifically for using my superfeet insoles in for walking. Due to the ample toe box my insoles fit without any trimming. I have pretty severe foot pain and numbness in my toes and these shoes help combat that. Size 10.5 fit perfect just like in Adidas and Merrell. The soles are perfect for the gravel roads I walk on, plenty of grip and stability.

Traction plus

Shoes are very comfortable and have great traction. The size is very close. I thought I may need a half size bigger but after wearing the shoes for a few days they are just right. With Such good traction on these shoes, I use the shoes as golf shoes. I work at a golf course and they are great at work going up and down the ramp to the cart barn.

These shoes are very comfortable, very stylish, and are easy on my feet. I normally have to add comfort insoles to my shoes, but not with these. I have had many pairs of Sauconys. They are always very comfortable and stylish, but the downside is they are not as long lasting as some other high-end sneakers. The materials just wear out faster.

Ten Years of Saucony Excursion Sneakers

I have been wearing Saucony excursion sneakers for the past ten years. It fits a lot better than the glove OJ tried on during his trial. It feels like I'm walking around with 2 pillows on my feet. Please don't ever stop making the Excursion TR model sneakers.
