New Balance Men's 608 Wide Width Training Sneaker

I would like to start off by saying I love New balance shoes. I am 48 years old, and New Balance is (in my opinion) the most comfortable, durable, and size constant shoes I have ever worn. Been wearing only New Balance for round 35 years. Never have to try them on and always a perfect fit. This pair of slip resistant shoes is the first time I ever ordered a pair of shoes online, and I am 100% satisfied. If anyone needs a pair of slip resistant shoes or works in the restaurant industry and require slip resistant shoes I highly recommend great shoe very comfortable! Thank you New Balance for always having a great consistent product!

I was looking for a decent priced shoe under $100, had positive reviews, versatile for the office, weekends and the gym, and was comfortable without all the unnecessary cushioning those expensive shoes offer, which by the way too much cushioning on your foot is NOT a good thing. I found these in all black, because all black is cool, and for my wide size 14 feet..found these in store on the DSW website. Most stores never have wide 14s which is always a bummer, but I feel blessed to find these in store. Comfortable, not too much cushion, and wide for my feet to breathe. These are an underrated winner. 5 out of 5 in my book!

I am female and wear men's New Balance because I I wear a 4E and no women's shoes, not even yours go that wide. (Hint, hint, especially with so many women becoming athletically active these days.) Also have high arches. Have been doing NB for decades. This model of shoe has inferior insoles compared to prior models I have worn that have been discontinued. I inquired if you had premium insoles in a 4E and was told no, I should get some Superfeet. They don't carry insoles in this width, either. My feet are not malformed, and I don't need professional orthotics-- just some good internal support. Sorry to give you a 3 out of 5, but that's how this shoe stacks up.

Well, I haven't had the shoes very long before receiving this prompt for a review, so I can only comment on first impressions and not how well they actually hold up. I've consistently needed the same size shoes from New Balance for more than a decade and appreciate that wide shoes are consistently available. For whatever reason, these are a little too big. I ordered them from the website, and needed non-slip for work, so I couldn't deal with the hassle of getting them exchanged for a size down. Just kinda stuck with shoes that should have fit great, but don't. Also, the shoelaces are a comically excessive length and utterly nonsensical. A disappointing purchase.

Have been wearing these for the past month or so. I work retail so I am always on my feet. I bought these to replace my pair of Skechers. I've been wearing Skechers for years but the last couple of pairs didn't hold up very well so I figured I'd try these out. So far, the comfort level is similar. As for longevity, only time will tell. The only complaint I have about these are that they are a bit noisy when you're walking. At first, I thought the squeaky noise was due to that outer coating on the sole and it would wear off. But, I've been wearing these for a while and the noise persists. Doesn't bother me at all but keep in mind if you are wearing these in a quiet setting.
