Comfortable, but Very Poor Quality. Don't BUY!

I agree with the other reviewers: The shoes are so comfortable, but they don't last. I purchased one pair, wore it exactly one day, and the color on the toe was already worn off at the end of the day. I did nothing unusual - just walked in them. I would call this a defective product. Unfortunately, when I brought them home, I was so excited about how comfortable, I immediately purchased the same shoe in another color. This was before I wore them other than trying them on. I picked up the second pair - maybe this pair will be OK, I hoped. I wore the second shoes to church twice (that makes 2 half days) and the color on the toes is rubbing of this pair.

Runs Small

This is a great, basic flat that can be worn with both casual and more dressy outfits. I particularly like the tumbled leather look. Sometimes, even shoes in narrow width are too wide in the heel. That’s not the case with this style. The heel truly is narrow. I ordered this in a 9N but my toes were right at the end so I am in the process of exchanging for a 9 1/2N. If it’s a bit long, I can add a heel pad. I’m only giving 4 stars because I won’t be able to judge the comfort and quality until my exchanged shoes arrive. I have always had good luck with this brand and am confident they will be comfy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not as Comfortable As I Had Thought

I wore these one time and they fit at try on but as soon as I did some normal activity walking in them at work they felt awful. The back of the shoe digs into Achilles’ tendon and gave me an awful blister. I wish I would have realized the back moves forward when your foot moves repeatedly as when doing normal walking. I have been wearing them in the house with socks on in an attempt to give them a stretch on the bend and remedy the back digging. Otherwise I may give them away. I don’t recommend, I’m sad I paid so much for them. Flats can be tricky once you introduce bending into the wear.

They Tell You To Wear Flats When You Wear Heels

You know how they tell you to wear flats when you wear heels? My high heel boots are a lot for me in my opinion. I bought these because I wear heels a lot and they are my dressy shoes that I am comfortable in. I live in Florida and while my feet are naturally sweaty it’s worse heal. So my first complaint is the sole of the shoe but that isn’t my main thing. That can be remedied with a different sole. My thing is that I have to wear bandaids on the back of my heels to keep myself from getting a blister. And I have naturally wide feet so my pinky toe rubs against the sides. So I end up wearing 4 band aids by the end of the year. I didn’t like then I will be more picky with buying flats in the future.

Leather Peels Within Months

At first, these flats felt perfect -- after a day or two of breaking in, they were incredibly comfortable. But for $80.00, I would expect the leather to last longer than two months. I work an office job where the only time these shoes are exposed to the elements is on my walk from the parking lot to my desk. In that amount of time, the leather had already begun to peel and flake off. It looks unprofessional, so I can no longer wear them. If there was some sort of warranty, I would return them. Feeling disappointed at the money spent.

Stylish and versatile.

I love these Maxwell Ballet Flats. They are sturdy but stylist and the fabric makes them look like a higher end shoe. They have a minimal heel which elevates them over ballet flats where you are walking on the ground without any heel and support. I usually wear a 5-5.5. I bought the 5 and they fit perfectly. In fact I liked my first pair so much I bought another color right away. Can be dressed up or down. I don't think you can fnd a better ballet flat at this price. I highly recomend these shoes.

I bought these shoes one week before I needed them and was thrilled when they arrived 2 days before the date. After suffering with low back pain for the last 2 years, I needed a flat shoe to wear with my wedding garb. These shoes were just the ticket and I was able to wear them all day without any pain. They turned out to be an extremely good purchase especially because I use a lift in my shoes because of a short leg. I think I'll be trying again if a need should arise. Thank you, Sandy

Narrow toe box

I normally love Naturalizer ballet flats. I own a size 10 beige ballet flat that I thought was the same style. However, those pinch across the ball of my foot and squeeze in the toe box as my right foot has changed. So, I ordered an 11. That should fix it, right? Evidently not. It isn't just my feet that have changed! The size 11 didn't have as deep a curve in the opening of the shoe toward the toes, so they aren't exactly the same cut. They LOOKED longer than my size 10's, but didn't feel any better at all. In fact, the inside edge of the shoe cut into my foot at the ball of my foot beneath the big toe, and the toe box was as narrow as the 10 's were. I wanted to like these shoes, but I will not suffer for fashion. They were quality Naturalizers, but aren't a true size-up from my size 10's.
