Waterproof and sturdy for kids!
My son loved these as we toured Denmark and Sweden in the rain and snow! Lots of grip, light enough and waterproof!

Not Waterproof. At all.
Cute, but a little clunky, and not even remotely waterproof. My daughter wore these once, for an hour, through dewy grass, and her feet were soaked (only down by the toes, so I know the water didn't come in around the ankles).

Kept her feet dry/comfortable and loved color
I bought these for my 6 year old daughter to wear on a 9 day trip to Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Grand Teton. She never complained about her feet hurting and we averaged about 6 1/2 miles per day. We hit areas that were wet/muddy and they kept her feet dry. Did not require much breaking in - she wore them for maybe a hour the week before the trip. I bought 1/2 a size bigger and that was perfect for thick socks. She loved that they were purple!

I bought these for my 8 year old daughter. She us very picky about shoes but liked these. Wore them for a 42 km hike and was quite happy. Minimal blisters. The laces are very long but we managed

Great for people with foot issues.
Excellent for people with disabilities. I have 3 people in the household with CMT. This disease will cause peripheral neuropathy and lead to various feet issues. It is imperative that we find and use particular shoe styles to make sure we have good support and a long lasting shoe/sole that holds up to drop foot and other foot issues. These provide excellent support/padding and a high quality sole that still provides excellent traction. I highly recommend these to anyone with foot problems and need high quality shoes.
