wish they came in more sizes

great shoe. this is a fantastic hiker. the velcro closure is a much needed item in my house. looks like a “big kid” show. plenty of style but the velcro makes it easy peasy for my special needs son. he doesn’t get picked on for having a velcro shoe with these. they are water proof and we are on our second pair. many miles were seen by his first pair. unfortunately after this pair he will size out.

Not recommended

They are not water proof. I only not giving 1 star because of their comfort and design. But they are not waterproof and very poor quality. We got them only about 2 weeks ago and my son was wearing only few tikes ever since. They are not water proof at all. The seal from sides got loose, very disappointed.

Hiking boots

I got these for both my daughters. They love them and they are very picky with shoes. We go on hikes somewhat often and these have held up well so far. They are sturdy, comfortable, and have a great grip for hiking in rough terrain! Merrell are simply the best hiking boots!!

DRY KIDDO FEET

We live in very North PNW on acreage. Think Evergreen State Rain & Mud. The girls feet stay dry. Dry feet and comfort encourage the outdoors. So it is we are now on round 4 or 5 Of the Moab II for our growing kiddos

NOT waterproof as advertised

Nice shoe, comfortable, but NOT waterproof. It leaked water the first puddle my daughter stepped into. The whole trip any time she stepped into wet ground her socks were wet on the sole of her foot.

My older daughter had these in another color years ago, so when my younger daughter needed new boots, I didn’t think twice. They’ll be fantastic for hiking and camping this summer!
