Merrell Youth Boys' Agility Peak Sneaker

These shoes are super dangerous. The "laces" stretch and now they touch the ground and flop around even when they are tucked in. They are a tripping hazard. We have bought a lot of Merrell shoes but these ones are awful. I bought the adult pair and had to return them for the same reason. My kids looked ok, but as time went on they got worse and worse. I do not recommend. These shoes have been worn for about 5 months but not exclusively. Maybe only 3 months in total. We purchased them over the summer for school but he preferred different pair. He outgrew the other pair and now I'm really seeing just how bad these are.

Grandson loves these shoes he got for Christmas but the sole and upper on one shoe separated down inside about halfway and outside about a quarter of the way starting after the toe. Tried a little epoxy on each side because he liked the shoes so much. Applied the epoxy fix on 1/31/2025 so they didn't lsst longer than 4.5 weeks. Bought these for my 5 year old. He loved the fun colors and the laces that you don't have to tie. He did initially say they made him twice as fast as his old shoes, but has since come back to say that it's not the shoes but his legs that make him that fast. So speed increase is uncertain at this point. But in all seriousness great kids shoes with no complaints.

I bought these for my daughter and she absolutely loves them. They are super comfy, even though she has wide feet. I used a size guide and she has 3.5 according to it, I ordered size 4. Also love that it has no classic laces as those are usually an issue. Color is super vibrant (we bought orangy-pink) so it is perfect. Absolutely recommend.

These were a replacement for the Nova which used to be our go to shoe (side note: that shoe has changed and fell apart immediately). Kid reports these are comfy, wearing everyday. Very light weight and so far holding up to normal activities including light hiking.

My feet are so happy!! These are wonderful. I have gone hiking in them at RRG. I work in a WHS and wear them everyday. They are so comfortable! Highly recommended!! Its a must for everyday life!

Good shoe, but shoes laces are very long and my kid tripped on it and snapped the lace ties off. We replaced laces with another set- but something to be aware of.

I had thought Merrell was a high-quality, durable brand, but the rubber layer on the bottom of these sneakers was lifting off after only a couple of weeks.
