LifeStride  Women's True Mary Jane Pump

I am a bit of a shoe snob, and rarely buy dress shoes that are not leather. However, after searching high and low for some black Mary Jane-style shoes that were both attractive and affordable (not to mention comfortable on my 7 1/2 wide foot), I decided to give this shoe a try in the black patent leather. Well, I love them! They are so pretty on, and the fit is great. Although I have not worn them out and about yet, they seem very comfortable and I can usually determine right away if a shoe is going to work for me (from years of experience of choosing the wrong ones)! Needless to say, I am very happy with my purchase:)

Finding the right color navy shoe has not been easy - they are too bright blue or almost black, so I was hopeful these would be the perfect match. I usually wear 9.5 in dress shoes, but could hardly get my foot into these when they arrived. They certainly are not leather, so clearly will not stretch over time, and not willing to risk the blisters trying to make that happen. LifeStride is usually a reliable brand for comfort and quality, but these did not pass the test this time. Save your money and keep shopping for something else - even on sale they are not worth it. Returning these!

For anyone with wide feet, you understand the ongoing struggle of finding shoes that properly fit. I just got into a position at work and am required to dress business attire, so I needed to up my shoe game. After banging my head against a wall shopping on Amazon, I decided to try DSW. I live in a small town and there are minimal options for shopping. 1. I was genuinely surprised the inventory they offered for wide feet! 2. They actually have shoes that are really cute! I am a sucker for Mary Jane's, and this shoe hit all the marks. They are extremely comfortable! And as a woman that goes on walks on her breaks, I was happy that I could wear these and not feel like they were on fire from the discount. I will definitely be purchasing more shoes from this brand!

I really like the looks of these shoes but have to admit that they don’t fit me well… The arch doesn’t match my own correctly and, even though the length of the shoe is correct, it doesn’t hold onto my heel snugly enough and I can see that it will start slipping off the more worn in the shoe becomes. I’m sad because I’m a flight attendant who spends so much time on my feet IN HEELS and comfort is a necessity on a 19hr duty day.

I have had such a hard time finding work shoes that don't destroy my feet after half a day. These are the only heels I've ever found that I can actually wear all day long. They are very comfortable, the heel is the right height and width for stability and I get many compliments. My coworker bought a pair after seeing mine and also likes the comfort. Something to note is that I am always a size 8 1/2 and I had to buy size 9 in the True. I had to deduct two stars because the quality is lacking. I have purchased the True in black fabric, black synthetic and tan synthetic, and have had to exchange both synthetic pairs, the tan twice. The synthetic material started to peel off after the first wear, and the first tan had a defective heel. The replacement shoes are also peeling. It is very disappointing. I recommend sticking with the fabric as it has held up well.

I walked 2 miles in these shoes the first night I wore them (in 30 degree weather in NYC, no less) and was comfortable the entire time. I have somewhat sensitive feet and also a hard time in general finding shoes that don’t rub or slip or squish. These are a great combination of cute and comfy. The strap helps keep your foot in if you have narrow heels like I do. Pleased!

I was looking for comfortable closed toe heels and these definitely fit the bill! They are so cute and very comfortable. I have to walk 1/2 mile from the parking garage to my office and I didn't regret a single step. I had no issues with blisters or anything. I bought them in blue and am considering getting in another color. Highly recommend these cute and stylish heels!

I have an older version of this pair and wore them a for long time. The difference with this new one is the double straps versus the older model with the single strap. This new pair with the double straps don’t seem to fit as well as they slip off the back a little, but overall, they are still stylish and I love the patent material.
