Nice warm boot but with a minor flaw

I bought this to replace an older pair that was not warm in winter. This new one is very comfy and warm, but it has one drawback ... it is very difficult to get in or out, as the laces stay together and can not be 'unhooked' like most other winter or hiking boots, because they run all the way to the top and through a CLOSED hook. I may go to a showmaker and have open hooks installed in the upper 3 rows to be able and totally undo the laces and to open the boot more wide.

I tried on many boots and kept coming back to these. They’re comfortable and warm. They don’t feel or look as bulky as some of the others, but are well insulated and ready for hours in the snow.

This boots are pretty comfortable, not heavy as other winter boots. The only downside is your feet get cold after standing outside in the cold for a bit. Other than that I would buy them again.

My son always has cold feet. He said these boots keep his feet nice & warm and that they give him good ankle support. True black in color. Not super bulky like some winter boots can be.
