Unfortunately not as pictured

These boots are cozy, fit well, and are comfortable (only tried on at home). However, I’ll be returning them because they aren’t as pictured. Different materials are used around the boot shaft and around the bottom part of the boot. The bottom part around the heel, side, and top of boot are a shiny plastic black material vs. dull black material around the top. Would have kept them if it was just dull black material throughout the boot.

Got a grip on my new DWS boots

I recently bought a pair of women's 'Elements' Snow boots. Three reasons why 1) my other boots wore out 2) I was impressed with the style of the 'Elements' boots especially the ice grippers on bottom of boots. As we have a lot of icy conditions in Winter, these boots are ideal. Saves having to buy boot grippers to attach to boots, which 9/10 times, do not fit so these 'Elements'' ice grippers were the deal breaker in buying them. Also 3) being waterproofed (which my last boots were) is an asset. I tried on many styles of boots in many stores but when I put these 'Elements'' on, it was sheer comfort. I haven't tried them as yet in the snow, but when there is sufficient snow on the ground, I will be wearing them. Can't wait.

Cheap plastic around the zippers. Returned item as I don't think they will function in -35c.

This boot has a vinyl top over the toes. The snow does not come off unless you use your hand to brush it off. After 1 hour my toes were frozen. I returned then and got a different pair.
