Converse Women's Chuck Taylor All Star Classic Hi Sneaker

Can you imagine a 75 year old woman actually wearing these? Well---imagine it! I was in Portland and saw everyone wearing these High-Top Converse sneakers with dresses and jean skirts and cut off shorts - so I went online to DSW - ordered them and counted the days till they arrived. They are very comfy - got them in a size 6 and worried I should have gotten a larger 6.5 - but I like my Converse to fit snuggly so I can wear them without socks and they won't slip on my heel. I wear a 6 in sandals or open toe shoes and 6.5 in closed toe shoe usually. These were perfect in the size 6. They are so cute on - I feel like I am in high school again - HA

I bought these right before a trip to NYC and it was amazing. They were so comfortable for all of the walking I did in the city. I wore them in Hawaii and at Universal Studios and even in Jamaica. These shoes are always in my bag when I travel because they're so durable and last so long. I live in Miami and they are comfortable in the heat. I go to school in Boston and they are still comfortable with fuzzy socks in the winter. I have had them for over a year and since I wore them so often with every outfit, they are so dirty now. I intend on buying a new pair, which just shows how essential these shows are to my closet.

How can you go wrong with a shoe that has been in style forever? Anyone from women in their 20s to my 70-something-year-old father compliments me on these shoes. They are actually my third pair of classic Chucks. I have ruined the first two pairs since they have become my music festival go-to for footwear and DSW is always there to help me out. I find the sizing to be right on point. In low tops, I can get that way with a 7 1/2. Although in high tops, I find that 8 works better for me and in general I am a size 8. I like to rock these sneakers with skinny pants, skirts, and shorts. There's really no way to go wrong with these… Or at least, I've not found one yet.

So classic and comfy. Everyone should have black and white pairs of Taylor Convers!

First time ordering from a dsw store & I’ll proudly say I will be making many more orders from here. Reading the reviews, I sized up to a 9. DEFINITELY WAY TOO BIG!! Lol they’re humongous on me, I definitely could’ve gotten my regular size,8, and even then it probably would’ve been a bit big. So DONT size up!! They’re rather wide (or so I feel bc my feet are very skinny/barrow lol) which is durable bc I like wearing my thick fuzzy socks with them in the fall & they have enough room where my foot won’t be suffocating. I love them overall (:

This is the 7th or 8th pair of Converse I’ve owned in the past 15 years or so, and you can definitely tell the quality is going downhill. I’ve always loved Converse for their reliability (and will likely continue to buy them) but I’m disappointed with this most recent pair. The metal grommet at one of the lace holes split in half with the front left dangling loosely around the shoelace. How does this even happen? Long story short, cute shoes but they likely won’t hold up as long as you think they will.

Have been eyeing these covered for a while and spontaneously decided to get them! They are SO cute with lots of different outfit, with jeans and even dresses. After I wear them I wet a paper towel and wipe them down to remove any dirt and it has done a good job of keeping them clean. They are comfy to wear walking all day without bothering your feet. I have long, narrow feet and they fit great. I always get lots of compliments when I wear these! You really can’t go wrong with classic white hi tops.

I’m flat footed and my feet are also narrow. These are so perfect. I use them for weightlifting, and everyday wear. I’ve always owned multiple pairs my whole life and always come back for more once they’re worn out. I have minimal to absolutely no arch pain or discomfort. Loveee! I wouldn’t use these to run though but they work for everything else. I’ve owned from leather converse to the most basic and they’re so great. They go with everything and anything. I always say everyone needs a pair.
