I quite like these shoes

- Clarks are comfortable
- I prefer round toe shoes, and they're getting harder to find nowadays
- I adore the toecap trend that has come back into fashion
- Leather instead of pleather means that this won't start flaking all over the place someday in the future
- Bought beige instead of black because it was cheaper, but the beige actually matches my skin tone well and creates that illusion of longer legs
All that said, I was lucky that I only needed to shorten the straps by one hole. I could see where people needing that last hole would encounter problems. That does seem like a design flaw.

The shoe wasn't a great choice for me. Not sure if its a design error but tightening the strap was impossible due to that strip of leather close to the buckles. For the first time, a Clarks just didn't meet my expectations but otherwise, its a very comfortable footwear.

Flaw in Strap

Wish I read the reviews before I made the purchase! I’m unable to tighten the straps because the last two holes are unreachable due to the width of the strap that gradually gets thicker. So disappointed in Clarks, a company with a decent reputation, to let this flaw get by them. They’re cute & comfy, but they slip and therefore unsupportive.

There is a design flaw that you can even see in the photo… the strap cannot be tightened because the last hole is on a wide part that won’t fit through the buckle . Soo disappointing
