So Sad...

These were so comfortable out of the box. My feet never hurt when I wore them and I truly loved them for approximately 4 months. Both shoes got holes on the outside near the small toe in the exact same place. Why? Because of the weird mesh that they use now. There is no reinforcement to prevent this in spite of the fact that I bought Wide Width for my mildly wide feet. This could have only happened because of the cheap materials that they used. I've had much-less expensive Skechers in regular width that never got holes compared to these Asics. Very disappointing.

I have a pair of gel venture 9 from a year ago, these are not the same shoe. I am an 8 1/2 with this brand, size up half a size, and the minute I took them out of the box, I knew they were too long. They are much lighter and have a mesh in the toe area. I am returning them, I think they are cheaply made and will not last, plus, I am assuming my normal size 8 would have been the size to purchase. Very disappointed for I really like this brand.

Great For zumba

I love love asics! The minute I tried this shoe on I knew it was for me. I know it’s a running shoe but I love the light weight feel to it for my Zumba class and working out. I got them yesterday and wore them that very night. My feet didn’t hurt after and with my other workout sneakers they did. I got a 9.5 because I always have to go up a half a size when it comes to asics. When it comes to working out asics is always a win for me.

Not the same fit as previous Asics

I have been wearing Asics for several years and have been completely satisfied but these are going back. Although I ordered the same size and width as I have been wearing these are shorter than my previous Ascis and the side fabric is wider than usual so it buckles. The shoelaces are also very short. I am not sure what happened but these are not what I am used to.

Very Comfortable

Wore these on a hike over the Brooklyn bridge, which was a longer walk to get there. I did about 15K in steps and my feet were happy! No pain , no blisters, etc. Very comfortable. Note I sized up 1/2 a size due to a recommendation of my podiatrist for additional comfort and due to potential thick socks.

I ordered these on line, nice blue colour instead of black. I have worn ASICS for many years but this style looks small and narrow in usual size. Didn’t even bother to try them on, they looked so small and narrow. Did check inside to be sure they were right size in the box.I had to take them back.

When I tried them on at the store I wasn't sure they would be that great but they were the color I wanted. So I tried them on at home the next day and wore them and they turned out to be so comfortable that I wore them all day! They are light weight and I hardly know I am wearing them.

Picked the white ones up on clearance & they are a great shoe! Very comfy & stylish. I normally wear a 7.5-8 women’s & the 8 in these Asics fit well w a little wiggle room in the toe. I still have the older version contend 7 & they have hold up perfectly for a few yrs now
