adidas Womens' Swift Run 1.0 Running Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shoe pattern. I bought it previously, but the new design has changed. It was sewn together where the tongue meets the shoe. Very tight to slip on. Also, quite a bit wider than previous design.

That being said, I wish I the shoe had a little more flexibility so I could easily slide them on instead of lacing them up each time I put them on. With my insole, the shoes are a little tight, particularly in the toe area, so I maybe should've gone a half size up. The aglet, or tip of the shoelace, is white which ruins the black on black vibe I was looking for in this shoe. This is not shown in any of the pictures online so I was disappointed when I saw that. Lastly, and probably the worst part of this shoe, they are slippery on wet surfaces. Overall, a decent shoe but would not purchase again.

I’ve been on the hunt for new shoes for quite awhile and these really caught my eye because they looked light weight and sleek. I walk to work and some shoes made my feet sweaty but these are really nice and have a great breathable fabric. At my job I’m constantly on my feet and walk a lot, I even took these with me on my trip to Disneyland for a week and my feet weren’t hurting at all! Overall they’re great but the reason for rating a 4 is that they run a bit big maybe like half an inch and the in the front it’s quite wide but it allows for more space for your toes which I don’t mind so much.

I previously owned this sneaker in green (size 8) and pink (size 7.5) and recently bought the black (size 8.5). They all fit depending on the thickness of the socks. They were all comfortable. These sneakers are incredibly comfortable. I have a broad instep, so the wide and soft toe area make these shoes extra special. I like that although the sole and upper are both black, there is contrast that clearly delineates these areas, so the shoe does not look like a solid mass of nothingness. The design is decipherable; it is beautiful, simple and stylish. I am satisfied with these sneakers.

I've purchased these shoes three times because they fit my price point, were aesthetically ok, and seemed like they would fit my needs, and each time I've purchased them they've been pretty darn good for about two months, and then something breaks. On the first pair, the tongue split in half. On the second pair, the toe box wore through and had three holes in it after two months. On this last pair, the lace holders just completely snapped off the shoe, rendering one of them entirely unwearable. I don't feel like I wore them particularly aggressively, but who knows.

Finally a shoe that doesn’t squish my pinky toe, heels don’t cause blisters (I have thin skin and this happens with most shoes) and are actually comfortable! We just need wayyyyy more colors! And not just pink and purple girly colors. Girls DO like colors OTHER THAN pink and purple FYI. Bring nude colors and pops of accent colors like white with gold, nude colors with pops of black or a multitude of nude colors, baby blue with black or white, different color greens, etc. I’d love to see far more options of this shoe. I tried the NMD but the heel goes up way too high on my legs and get blisters instantly and sadly, NMD is the type of shoe with all the color options and not swift run. Don’t know why. These are far superior to NMD. Just need more options.

I do really like the look of these shoes, and I have wider feet, so they fit great for me. My disappointment with these shoes lies in their quality. I don't often buy new shoes, so was stoked to grab these. However, after a week of wear, the loop holes holding the shoestrings broke off the shoes. There doesn't seem to be a way to fix them myself, so I was super disappointed. Especially for the price point, I thought they would be better quality. Not sure if I got a fluke pair that were damaged or what, but it was huge bummer.

Shoe is soft and comfortable run a little big. I brought a 7.5 should’ve brought a 7. In other shoes I wear an 8 in adidas I either wear an 7 or a 7.5. Shoe is comfortable sole is not wide or thick so it does not feel like you are going to fall over.
